Splinterlands - Season End - Beat Lama + Kron Twice

At first I thought the highlight of this season was my trip to Las Vega for SplinterFest. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, met so many awesome people and learned so much that my head hurts. With all the information provided, I am still trying to think what it all means and how it will impact the game going forward.

Upon my return, I started to enter matches to work down my ECR and try to get back into Gold prior to season end.

Then this occurred:

When I see this summoner, I always know that I have lost the match before it has ever started because that is what always had happened in the past. I was so shocked when I won the first match and then when the summoner came up again just a little time later, I had a glimmer of hope that it was possible. And I won again.

It will probably will never happen again but I know now that it can which gives me the push to keep playing no matter how many times I keep losing.

Here is my rating and collection power close to the end of the season. I had just made it back into Gold earlier that day.

Season End Rewards

This was my fourth season to collect Season End Gold Loot Chests. I really struggled to get back into the Gold League prior to end of Season. Everyone has made the comment that it is all the bots in Silver that will slow you down. I think I just need to learn how to play better with the cards I have in my deck.

This Season End, I received 27 Gold Loot Chests that were valued at $4.50 I did receive two Chaos Legion packs which is the majority of the value which I received in my chests. Without them, my rewards would have had very little value.

Loot Chests

When looking at my combined loot chests, I received 26 reward cards, three Chaos packs, over 100 potions, almost 15 SPS and 169 Merits. I was able to level up some of the reward cards with the ones that I was rewarded.

Performance

Even though I was able to make it back to Gold League, it did come at a price. I lost slightly more matches than I won this season - winning 153 vs losing 160 matches. I did have a nice win streak of 11 matches during the season. I did only play in the modern format.

For the 153 wins, I was awarded 30.580 SPS. Since I am trying to push up my staked SPS, I am hoping to get even more during this next season.
