The Angelic Madarin has a mana cost of 3 with 1 range attack, 2 speed and 6 health. Even as a level 2, it has no other special abilities.

Once this card is maxed out, it will have the Triage and Silence abilities. Triage will heal one of the back line cards with the most damage while Silence reduces the magic attack of all enemy monsters.

Angelic Mandarin has always been a good anchor for my lineups so this time I thought it was do well to pick it again for my lineup.

I selected a tank with speed and then added a healer and a shield repair. These two would ensure that my tank lasted for a very long time.

I was not expecting my opponent to have two sneak and one opportunity cards in their line up.

When round 2 started, I was thinking that my strategy was working as I was lowering my opponents tank and they were not getting into the health of mine. However Angelic was taking a little damage but that was to be expected.

By the start of the 7th round, I knew that I had been defeated. I only had my tank which could attack and they kept repairing their tanks shield and picking off my back line.

Did It Work?

No. I believe that if the Equalizer ruleset would not have been in play, I might have had a chance. I would need to rethink the whole lineup when that ruleset is active and add more sneak or opportunity cards to my lineup.
