Splinterlands - Share Your Battle - Dragons: Dhampir Infiltrator

Small but Deadly

When you thing of Dragons most think of the huge animals that spit fire. But there are several other cards within the Dragon splinter of which you should also take notice.

One of the smallest in the Dragon splinter is Dhampir Infiltrator.

Dhampir Infiltrator has the Sneak and Double Strike abilities. These teamed together is very hard to deny. It is a rare card so the Gold version starts at level 2 with +1 health over it's starting values.

Match Rule Set

Mana Cap: 50
Rule Set: Close Range and Even Stevens
Splinter: Death or Dragon available - selected Dragon

I believe that if the rule sets do not prohibit, you should always pick the Dragon splinter. However this would depend on the cards in your deck.

My lineup was based on the assumption that I should be able to hold off their tank and direct attack with a very strong tank combined with a summoner that heals. I also added three cards with magic to my lineup to get under any armor they may employ.

I planned for the Dhampir Infiltrator to take out my opponents back line while my front line held strong weaken their whole attack plan.

By the start of the 3rd round, little progress was being made by either side. The good news is that my Dhampir Infiltrator had killed my opponents last position card which happened to have the life leach ability. It should start going a little faster now that they are down a card.

By the start of the 5th round, my opponent had lost two more cards and I had as well. The only difference being that all of my remaining cards were at full health and all of my opponents were heavily damaged. Due to this, the battle did not take much longer.

Did It Work?

My lineup worked very well. However if my opponent would have used a card with the Opportunity ability, my Dhampir Infiltrator would have been picked off close to the beginning of the battle weakening my chance at victory.
