¡Hola a todos! Estoy muy emocionado por mostrarle el proceso de esta pieza para el concurso de arte de @splinterlands.

Hi everyone!!! I'm so excited to show you the process of this piece for the @splinterlands art contest.

Este es el boceto que hice, si quieres ver el proceso, te invito a ver la publicación donde explico un poco más.

Desde hace tiempo quería pintar una piel morena, así que cuando vi a dicho personaje supe que era el momento de hacerlo. Me centré en su rostro para detallar su piel, ojos y cabello. De cierta manera modifiqué los colores originales del personaje a conveniencia, pero sin perder el parecido.

I had wanted to paint a brown skin for a long time, so when I saw this character I knew it was time to do it. I focused on his face to detail his skin, eyes and hair. In a way I modified the original colors of the character to suit, but without losing the resemblance.

En un principio había pintado los ojos color turquesa, pero cuando probé con marrón café pensé que sería mucho mejor, además es el color original del personaje. Las manchas de la piel del personaje los dibujé como vitiligo. Como dibujé con la simetría activada, tardé menos tiempo en terminar el dibujo.

At first I had painted the eyes turquoise, but when I tried with brown I thought it would be much better, besides it is the original color of the character. The spots on the character's skin I drew them as vitiligo. As I drew with symmetry activated, it took less time to finish the drawing.

Agregué algunas ramas para dar esa sensación de que es un personaje del splinter de tierra. Siempre es un gusto ver tanto cabello dibujado, aunque siempre es una tortura hacerlo, pues es lo que más tarde en pintar y detallar, sin embargo, en esta ocasión no le dí mucho detalle.

I added some branches to give that feeling of an earth splinter character. It's always a pleasure to see so much hair drawn, although it's always a torture to do it, as it's what took me the longest to paint and detail, however, this time I didn't give much detail.

Espero que les haya gustado. Fue un retrato sencillo pero colorido y radiante. Aún no tengo idea de cuál será mi próximo personaje a dibujar, pero desde ya empezaré a buscarlo. Gracias por leer, nos vemos en una próxima publicación.
