Halfshell Seer Decorative Figure in 3D Quilling Technique [Eng/Esp]

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I bring you a new work of art. I wanted to create a decorative 3D figure inspired by an element from the card, Halfshell Seer, using the quilling technique. I was really struck by her beautiful weapon of war, the mace she carries in her hands, and I brought it to life to share it with all of you.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, quise realizar una figura decorativa en 3D inspirada en un elemento de la carta, Halfshell Seer en la técnica de quilling, me llamo mucho la atencion su bella arma de guerra como lo es el maso que lleva en sus manos, y lo materialice para compartirlo con todos ustedes.

• Let's start by taking a wooden stick, cutting off both ends, and applying several coats of bronze paint, allowing each coat to dry between applications.

• Take some white card and cut a long strip about 3 cm wide. Roll the strip around the stick that you painted bronze earlier. When you have finished rolling the strip, secure it with extra-strong white glue.

• I applied a coat of pearl metallic paint to the white piece and let it dry thoroughly. Then I took silver metallic paint and applied it to both ends of the piece and let it dry.

• Vamos a comenzar tomando un palito de altura de madera al cual le corté los dos extremos, tomé pintura color bronce y le apliqué varias capas dejando secar entre una capa y otra.

• Tome cartulina de color blanco y recorte un trozo largo de más o menos 3cms de ancho, procedí a enrollar la tira en el palito que pinte previamente de color bronce, al terminar con toda la tira selle con pega blanca extra fuerte.

• Apliqué una capa de pintura metalizada color perlada a la pieza de color blanca deje secar muy bien, luego tomé pintura metalizada color plateada y aplique en los dos extremos de la pieza, dejamos secar.

• From a piece of gray cardstock, I cut three strips one millimeter wide. With these, I proceeded to make three open circles. Using the quilling needle, I rolled up the entire strip until I reached the end. I removed it from the needle, loosened it a little, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue. This is how I made the small open circle.

• I shaped the three circles into diamonds and glued them with extra-strong white glue onto the piece I had made earlier.

• I cut a 1-millimeter-wide strip of white paper and used it to make a small open circle, which I shaped as you can see in the image.

• De una cartulina color gris recorté tres tiras de un milímetro de ancho, con ellas procedí a hacer tres círculos abiertos, con la aguja para quilling, enrollé toda la tira hasta llegar al final de la misma, saqué de la aguja solté un poco y selle con pega blanca extra fuerte de esta manera conseguí el pequeño círculo abierto.

• Procedí a moldear los tres círculos en forma de diamante, estos los pegué con pega blanca extra fuerte en la pieza que hice con anterioridad.

• Recorte una tira de un milímetro de ancho de color blanca, con ella realicé un pequeño círculo abierto este lo moldee tal y como pueden ver en la imagen.

• I took gold metallic paint and proceeded to paint the white piece I had made earlier.

• At this point, I made a very small open circle with 1 mm wide blue quilling tape, shaped it into a diamond, and glued it onto the gold piece I had made earlier.

• Finally, I took this piece and glued it to the bronze stick.

• And now we have finished this decorative 3D figure that I made, inspired by the weapon of war of the beautiful character from the card “Halfshell Seer”.

• Tomé pintura metalizada color oro y procedí a pintar la pieza blanca que hice con anterioridad.

• En este punto realicé un muy pequeño círculo abierto con cinta para quilling de un milímetro de ancho color azul, este lo moldee en forma de diamante lo pegué en la pieza color oro que hice anteriormente.

• Para finalizar tomé esta pieza y la pegué de el palito de color bronce.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este figura decorativo en 3D que elabore, inspirada en el arma de guerra de la hermosa personaje de la carta "Halfshell Seer".
