Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I’m sharing a new piece of art with you. I decided to create a decorative figure inspired by the character “Wilhelmdale Deputy,” using the 2D quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, decidí realizar una figura decorativa inspirada en el personaje "Wilhelmdale Deputy", en 2D en la técnica de quilling.

• I started by sketching the hat I was going to make on a blank sheet of paper with a pencil.

• I took some dark gray cardstock and made several folds, applying extra-strong white glue and letting it dry thoroughly to create a much thicker piece of cardstock.

• I used the sketch to cut out the hat. I added some details to the piece using silver cold-weather paint.

• Using a strip of cardstock about 3 mm wide, I created the detail for the center of the hat and glued it in place.

• I took a 1-millimeter-wide strip of white paper, rolled it around the tip of a paintbrush to form a small ring, then shaped it into a square.

• Comencé realizando un boceto en una hoja blanca con un lápiz, del sombrero que voy a realizar.

• Tomé cartulina de color gris oscura y realicé varios dobleces aplicando pega blanca extra fuerte dejando secar muy bien, esto para hacer una pieza de cartulina mucho más gruesa.

• Tomé el boceto y recorte el sombrero. Con pintura al frío color plateada realicé algunos detalles en la pieza.

• Con un trozo de cartulina más o menos de 3 mm de ancho realicé el detalle del centro del sombrero, lo pegué en el sitio indicado.

• Tomé una tira de un milímetro de ancho de color blanco, en la punta de un pincel enrollé para realizar un pequeño aro, luego molde en forma de cuadrado.

• I cut six very small strips of cardstock, less than a millimeter wide, and used them to make six tiny open circles. I shaped these into diamonds, glued them in groups of three, and then joined the two groups together to form a star.

• I took the star and the square I had made earlier and painted them gold.

• On one side of the top of the hat, I made a small hole and inserted a jewelry ring.

• Finally, I glued the details—such as the star and the square—onto the hat, and then attached the pendant of my choice to the ring.

• And just like that, we have this 2D decorative hat figure I created, inspired by elements from the card character “Wilhelmdale Deputy”.

• Recorte seis tiras de cartulina muy pequeñas de menos de un milímetro de ancho, con ellas procedí a realizar 6 círculos abiertos muy pequeñitos. Estos los moldee en forma de rombos, los pegue en grupos de 3, luego uni los dos grupos para formar una estrella.

• Tomé la estrella y el cuadrado que había hecho con anterioridad, los pinté de color oro.

• En un costado de la parte de arriba del sombrero, abri un pequeño agujero e incorpore una argolla de bisutería.

• Para finalizar pegué los detalles en el sombrero como lo es la estrella y el cuadrado, por último enganche en la argolla el colgante de mi preferencia.

• De esta manera tenemos lista esta figura decorativa de un sombrero en 2D que elabore, inspirada en elementos del personaje de la carta "Wilhelmdale Deputy".
