Absolutely, SPS has dipped below $0.20. Some might think that this is a bad thing. Honestly, I think that this is an amazing thing. It is an opportunity for everyone who can see the massive value of Splinterlands and where the game will be going in the next 5 years time.
The reason I say that it is great that SPS is so low right now is for two reasons: Those people who do not believe in the game can sell off their tokens and be done with it. That's great. We don't need that kind of energy here.
Second, it means that new players and existing players who want to invest more into the game can get in and make their stake bigger. If we look at your example of Axxie then there is just no way I am going to spend over $100 on their tokens to get going as it stands.
I know Splinterlands. If we zoom out and see where it started and see where it is now and see what the Splinterlands team is doing... go ahead and SMELL that big things are coming. The Splinterlands Company has hired something like 3x to 4x their usual amount of employees now. Why would that be?

Lol. I do not think that it is HR mismanagement. They are getting ready because servers need upkeep. Previous team members needed to do maintenance and development.
Now they can split up.
Lands and Leagues and Tournaments and Media all are growing into their own departments.
I think all senior members are basically getting their own teams now. But it has taken a while because they are still training those new people up.
