This challenged required CENTAURI MAGE. I usually rent all my cards. I checked PeakMonsters for card availability of Earth-type cards.

Since I don't have CENTAURI MAGE and currently I am just collecting SPS as much as I can you the best way is to rent it.

I also unrented some neutral cards.

Centauri Mage is a very powerful monster of the earth splinter. This monster is half woman and half horse. It has a magical stick with what it throws it's magical attacks. It has a lot of health and magic attack with the "Return Fire" ability. It reminds me of Hylos from Mobile Legends usually all games have half hours half humans as tanks. CENTAURI MAGE 9 health makes her a good tank also although there are some other choices. I like to use these type of characters as a back/front lane secondary tank.

Centauri Mage of level 1 have 1 magic attack, 3 speeds, 9 health with "Return Fire" ability, and it needs 7 mana.

CENTAURI MAGE statistics are:

1 magic attack (Level 1-2)
2 magic attack (Level 3-7)
3 magic attack (Level 8)

3 speed (Level 1-6)
4 speed (Level 7,8)

0 Defence/Shield (Level 1-8)

9 Health (Level 1, 3, 5)
10 Health (Lvel 2, 4, 6-8)

Abilities:
Return Fire (Level 1-8)
Repair (Level 5-8)

Although CENTAURI MAGE Mana cost is 7, It's a good secondary tank for high mana cap battles.

As the battle was of 99 mana cap using CENTAURI MAGE as a secondary tank was a good option.

Lineup:

1. Unicorn Mustang:

Unicorn Mustang is a very powerful card in earth monster and I prefer to use it in front because it gets reduced damage and also its attack ability is very good.

2. Centauri Mage:

Earth splinter is really tanky and the only real weakness is ranged damage. That is why I like to include Centauri Mage on the second spot as an off-tank for Snipe attacks. She will return a portion of the damage to the attacker. It will not be enough to kill the attacker(in most cases) but it weakens enemy. High health means that Centauri Mage can return quite a few attacks.

3. Gargoya Devil:

Gargoya Devil is a very powerful card in neutral monster thus can we used with any summoner and I prefer to use it in front of all other ranged monster as Gargoya Devil can also attack from the front because of close range ability and flying ability allows him to evade melee or ranged attacks from non flying monsters.

4. Goblin Chariot:

Goblin Chariot is a good ranged monster because of many reasons. As it is a neutral monster, it can be used with any summoner. Goblin Chariot doesn't only have good attack speed (3) but also have 2 range attack and 4 health is also a plus point. Overall Golbin Chariot is a nice pick.

5. Cyclops:

Cyclops is a ranged monster that through rocks at any who calls him one eyed monters. He is overall good from health and attack point of view but I don't like its high mana cost. Although he is big in size so it must take a lot of summoners energy to summon him.

6. Mantoid:

Mantoid is one of the famous ranged monster of netrual type. No one ever catch any Mantoid because of it's jumping speed. Mantoid is similar to Cyclops but with better attack speed, health and an extra snipe ability. Now you know why it's famous.

Opponent used Fire summoner in Pyre with Living Lava, Cyclops, Mantoid, Parasitic Growth, Serpentine Spy, Giant Roc.

Battle:

Round 1:

I used Unicorn Mustang because I was expecting enemy to use magic attack monters. I used Centauri Mage as it was the part of challenge. I can't comment a lot about centauri mage as It was my first time playing with her as rented card. I filled my team with ranged attacks because from few days I am being very lucky with ranged monsters and once had a 7 steak with them. I select my cards from high mana to low mana as It was 99 MANA cap battle. Non of the monsters where down, only their shield were removed and Centauri Mage really returned damage to enemy.

Round 2:

This round was in my favor enemy's Parasitic Growth and Cyclops were left. My combo really worked against opponent. A had strong tank, reflected attacks, and all of monsters destroying opponent's back lane.

Round 3:

It just took my monsters one hit to eliminate than cyclops was left alone hopeless with one eye and my monsters killed him without pity for the rocks he throw at my monsters.

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes, It worked. I will try to use CENTAURI MAGE on front next time.

Do I like the CENTAURI MAGE? Why or why not?

My answer is a bit mixed. I liked CENTAURI MAGE refect but it is an Earth monster and I focus on buying neutrals and dragon thus till I don't have enough money I will focus on these two types because of it's flexibility.
