Splinterlands Diary 06.01.24 - Gold Foil Shield Party!

The New Year holidays are coming to an end, with hard work ahead, and perhaps it's worth getting back to active blogging on Hive. With the introduction of a huge number of new maps, the game has become much more interesting and there are some very amusing fights in the search for new abilities.

Today I've had a lot of battles with Little League and in one of them I used a new monster of the element of Death - WAILING WRAITH, which attacks from the second position and has a great ability to deal additional damage with its shield.

As a big Death fan, I used Waka Spiritblade Summoner to add poison ability to my cards, and for a more powerful Wailing Wraith effect and extra defence for my allies, I included Ravenhood Warden archer in this combo for a nice shield boost.

The opponent was quite decent, with a great selection of cards in Golden Foil and an emphasis on archers, but after losing my Revealer mage I still managed to win with a big numerical advantage.
