Hello friends, this is my entry to Splinterlands Art Contest 217, I was inspired by Axemaster, a card that I have used a lot in the last season and it has given me very good results.

Start with the design of the head.

Empece con el diseño de la cabeza.

Add color tones for depth and detail.

Agregue las tonos de color para dar profundidad y detalles.

Design the torso to test colors.

Add the Arms.

Add the legs in a neutral position for the animation.

Add the Right Arm Axe.

Add the other ax on another layer to avoid confusing the design when animating.

I made the design and animation of the Ax in another file.

Hice en otro archivo el diseño y la animacion del Hacha.

For the animation add a few frames with the movement of Axemaster's Body and synchronize the ax creating the animation as it would without the Double Strike Ability.

Para la animacion agregue unos frames con el movimeitno de Cuerpo de Axemaster y sincronice el hacha creando la animacion como seria sin la Habilidad de Double Strike.

To Complete the Animation add the background, the name and Double Strike signs and another ax with a little delay when thrown for the effect of the ability.

Para Completar la Animacion agregue el fondo, los letreros del nombre y de Double Strike y otra hacha con un poco de retraso al lanzarla para el efecto de la habilidad.

This is awesome, I always hoped that the new Splinterlands game would be pixel art, but instead there's that other... thing

Thanks for the comment friend.
My intention is to design more characters with this style and make a kind of JRPG game like Final Fantasy, even if it's a small initiative of mine, even if it's to practice programming.

Sure, I'm interested in doing some mature topics ... Instead of defeating the super evil guy I'd like to write something that has to do more with overcoming the evil within, as well as making the ultimate quest related to building a community that thrives in the face of adversity. Don't know if that resonates with you
