Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 175// GRUM FLAMEBLADE

hello this is my first participation in "Splinterlands Art Contest" I am a fan of pixelart and self-taught programmer of indie games and I wanted this opportunity to practice with a card that I have been liking a lot the good GRUM that in silver range is quite effective in many battles.

hola esta es mi primera participacion en "Splinterlands Art Contest" soy un fanatico del pixelart y programador autodidacta de juegos indies y quise esta oportunidad para practicar con una cartas que me ha estado gustando mucho el buen GRUM que en rango de plata es bastante efectivo en muchas batallas.

PROCESS/PROCESO

The first thing I do is create a 14x16 template to create the head while I have grum open for reference and create the color palette.

los primero que hago es crear una plantilla de 14x16 para ir creando la cabeza mientras tengo a grum abierto para referencia y crear la paleta de colores.

I'm starting to create the body, I use a background color that I don't plan to use for the background to avoid putting pixels without realizing it, and I increase the size of the canvas..

ya comienzo a crearle el cuerpo, uso de fondo un color que no pienso usar para el fondo para evitar poner pixel sin darme cuenta y aumento el tamaño del lienzo.

With the back created, I start with the arms and gauntlets.

ya con el dorso creado empiezo con los brazos y guanteletes.

Once the gauntlets are finished, I leave a small space for the sword and start with the legs.

ya terminado los guanteles dejo un pequeño espacio para la espada y empiezo con las piernas.

With the legs finished I started with the weapon in another layer (how difficult it was for me to make the dragon skulls).

con las piernas terminadas empece con el arma en otra capa (que dificil se me hizo hacerle los craneos de dragon).

With the whole design finished, all that remains is to change the background and save.

ya con todo el diseño terminado solo queda cambiar el fondo y guardar.

asi serie el resultado solo queda aumentar el tamaño de la imagen y ponerle unos detalles para la portada de la publicacion.
