CARD GLADIUS FLAGULON REINE, THE LEGENDARY CARD WITH THE BLODLUST AND BLAST SKILLS (ENG/ESP)
Hello Splinterlands community, greets you @elcristiano, I will be talking again about a Gladius card which is used in Brawl and currently also in modern and wild ranked battles. Weekly I will describe one by one these fabulous letters.
Hola comunidad de Splinterlands, les saluda @elcristiano, estare hablando nuevamente de una carta Gladius las cuales se usan en las Brawl y actualmente tambien en batallas de clasificación moderna y salvaje. Semanalmente describire una por una estas fabulosas cartas.
Gladius cards are monsters that have the ability BLOODLUST, they can be common, rare, epic or legendary, they can be of the elements fire, water, earth, life, death, dragon or neutral and they are only obtained after opening the packs GLADIUS CASE.
When a card attacks more than once in the same turn it represents a great advantage since it gives the impression that you have more cards than your opponent, therefore we will review what types of cards and abilities meet this condition. Chief among them is the Double Strike ability where a card attacks twice in a row each round. Another similar ability is Blast, in this case, a card after hitting its target deals half damage (rounded up) to adjacent monsters. There are other cards that do not have this type of ability but have 2 types of attacks among the three possible: melee, magic, ranged attack.
Las cartas Gladius son monstruos que tienen la habilidad BLOODLUST, pueden ser comunes, raras, épicas o legendarias, ser de los elementos fuego, agua, tierra, vida, muerte, dragón o neutra y solamente se obtienen luego de abrir los packs GLADIUS CASE.
Cuando una carta ataca mas de una vez en el mismo turno representa una gran ventaja ya que da la sensación de que se cuenta con mas cartas que el rival, por lo tanto revisaremos que tipos de cartas y habilidades cumplen con esta condición. La principal de todas es la habilidad Double Strike donde una carta ataca dos veces seguidas en cada round. Otra habilidad similar es Blast, en este caso, una carta despues de golpear a su objetivo causa la mitad del daño (redondeado hacia arriba) a los monstruos adyacentes. Hay otras cartas que no poseen este tipo de habilidad pero tienen 2 tipos de ataque entre los tres posibles: cuerpo a cuerpo, magia, ataque a distancia.
In this opportunity we will study one of the most important legendary GLADIUS cards of the water element, FLAGULON REINE. It is very similar to the Beta card RULER OF THE SEAS which at level 1 is very powerful in the wood and bronze leagues since it has a magic attack with Blast doing damage directly to the health of its opponents.
En esta oportunidad estudiaremos a una de las cartas GLADIUS legendarias mas importantes del elemento agua, FLAGULON REINE. Se parece mucho a la carta Beta RULER OF THE SEAS que en el nivel 1 es muy poderosa en las ligas madera y bronce ya que tiene un ataque mágico con Blast haciendo daño directamente a la salud de sus oponentes.
"When he was young, Flagulon Reine took his storm-summoning magic so seriously that he left the land of his ancestors and traveled to the lawless land of ΛZMΛRÉ, where storms are far more abundant, to learn the true potential of his powers. As with most storm casters, Flagulon's preferred method of attack power is lightning." Let's see how this card is used.
Skills:
BLAST: Deals half damage (rounded up) to units adjacent to the target card.
"Cuando era joven, Flagulon Reine se tomó tan en serio su magia para invocar tormentas que abandonó la tierra de sus antepasados y viajó a la tierra sin ley de ΛZMΛRÉ, donde las tormentas son mucho más abundantes, para conocer el verdadero potencial de sus poderes. Como ocurre con la mayoría de los lanzadores de tormentas, el método de poder de ataque preferido de Flagulon es el rayo". Veamos como se usa esta carta.
Habilidades:
BLAST: Causa la mitad de daño (redondeado hacia arriba) de las unidades adyacentes a la carta objetivo.
The BLAST ability can be enhanced if a summoner is used that increases the attack of our card.
Below is a Brawl attack showing this ability with the Gladius FLAGULON REINE card.
La habilidad BLAST puede ser potenciada si se utiliza un invocador que aumente el ataque de nuestra carta.

As you can see a card that originally had a 2 point magic attack is repowered by a summoner that offers +1 magic and deals 3 damage to the tank and +2 damage to the first card of the second row.
Because it is a Gladius card, it has the ability called BLOODLUST
Como se puede observar una carta que originalmente tenía un ataque mágico de 2 puntos, se repotencia con un invocador que ofrece +1 de magia y causa un daño de 3 puntos en el tanque y +2 puntos a la primera carta de la segunda fila.
Por ser una carta Gladius posee la habilidad llamada BLOODLUST
BLOODLUST: every time a monster with BLOODLUST defeats an opponent all its stats are increased (that is to say, magic, speed, defense and health will all go up automatically +1). As a consequence, as the battle progresses, it will become more and more fearsome in its attack.
Below is a Brawl attack with the Gladius card FLAGULON REINE.
BLOODLUST: cada vez que un monstruo con BLOODLUST derrota a un oponente todas sus estadísticas aumentan (es decir magia, velocidad, defensa y salud, todas subirán automáticamente +1). Como consecuencia a medida que avanza la batalla cada vez será mas temible en su ataque.
A continuación se muestra un ataque de las Brawl mostrando esta habilidad con la carta Gladius FLAGULON REINE.
After reviewing this little gif where a card with the Blast ability produces at least two attacks in the same turn, it is discovered that the Bloodlust ability could also take advantage of this opportunity and in the case of eliminating two or more cards it would also increase its statistics several times in the same turn. Therefore, these skills act in combination.
FLAGULON REINE starts to be an awkward card as it levels up. At level 2 it acquires the Shatter ability and as a consequence, after hitting its target it destroys all of its armor. At level 3 it acquires Knock Out, dealing double damage when hitting targets that are dizzy. And finally, at level 4 he does not acquire new abilities but he does increase his magic damage by one point, further enhancing his Blast ability.
Luego de revisar este pequeño gif donde una carta con la habilidad Blast produce al menos dos ataques en el mismo turno se descubre que tambien la habilidad Bloodlust pudiera aprovechar esta oportunidad y en el caso de eliminar dos o mas cartas también aumentaria sus estadisticas varias veces en el mismo turno. Por lo tanto, estas habiliades actuan de forma combinada.
FLAGULON REINE comienza a ser una carta incómoda a medida que sube de nivel. En el nivel 2 adquiere la habilidad Shatter y como consecuencia, luego de golpear a su objetivo destruye toda su armadura. En el nivel 3 adquiere Knock Out, inflingiendo doble de daño al golpear objetivos que esten mareados. Y por último, en el nivel 4 no adquiere habilidades nuevas pero sí aumenta en un punto el daño mágico potenciando aun mas su habilidad Blast.

Esta es la hermana perdida de ruler of the seas como estoy jugando en moderno no he logrado encontrar la oportunidad para usar esta carta, virtualmente la clase agua se ha convertido en una clase melé. Quizas en algún torneo en wild lo pueda usar.
