EVOLUTION OF SKILLS IN SPLINTERLANDS [ENG - ESP]

There are 4 major card editions in splinterlands: ALPHA, BETA, UNTAMED and CHAOS LEGION. On December 5 of this year, a new edition called REBELLION will begin and although the cards are not known, some of them have already been revealed. Among the new features we will have the same summoner that can be used for two elements, summoners with two skills from which you can select one of them just before starting the battle and 4 new skills in this card game. There is an edition of cards called GLADIUS but they are exclusive for the clan wars known as BRAWL. With the arrival of the CHAOS LEGION edition, summoners were added that have the ability to summon at least 1 GLADIUS card in WILD and MODERN ranked battles.

Below we will give a summary of the abilities and other characteristics of the cards in Splinterlands since the first edition came out.

Existen 4 grandes ediciones de cartas en splinterlands: ALPHA, BETA, UNTAMED y CAOS LEGION. El 5 de diciembre de este año comenzará una nueva edición que se llama REBELLION y aunque no se conocen las cartas ya se han rebelado algunas de ellas. Entre las novedades tendremos un mismo invocador que se podrá utilizar para dos elementos, invocadores con dos habilidades de la cual podrás seleccionar uno de ellos justo antes de comenzar la batalla y 4 nuevas habilidades en este juego de cartas. Existe una edición de cartas llamada GLADIUS pero son exclusivas para las guerras de clanes conocidas como BRAWL. Con la llegada de la edición CAOS LEGION se incorporaron invocadores que tienen la habilidad de invocar al menos 1 carta GLADIUS en las batallas de clasificación WILD y MODERNA.

A continuación daremos un resumen de las habilidades y otras características de las cartas en splinterlands desde que salió la primera edición.

ALPHA EDITION

  1. There are a total of 63 cards in the ALPHA edition: 59 are ALPHA and the remaining 4 are promotional.
  2. A total of 30 skills.
  3. There are 7 summoners and the remaining 56 are monsters.
  4. All ALPHA cards come in regular foil and gold foil.
  5. All ALPHA cards offer 10% bonus SPS reward when used in Ranked Battles. Gold foil cards offer an extra bonus of 10% and in this case because it is ALPHA the total bonus is 20%.
  6. Promo Cards offer an extra 10% SPS reward bonus when used in Ranked Battles; In this case, because it is ALPHA, the bonus is 20% and if it is gold foil, the total bonus will be 30%.
  7. The elements fire, water, earth, life, death and dragon appear for the first time, each with common, rare, epic and legendary cards.
  8. Each item has 1 rare summoner. The dragon element has an extra summoner that is legendary.
  9. The strict use of ALPHA cards corresponds to one of the Brawl fights that can be found from the tier 4 arena, fight 10, as well as in some tournaments.

EDICIÓN ALPHA

  1. Son en total 63 cartas de la edición ALPHA: 59 son ALPHA y las 4 restantes son de promoción.
  2. Un total de 30 habilidades.
  3. Son 7 invocadores y las 56 restantes son monstruos.
  4. Todas las cartas ALPHA vienen en foil regular y foil dorado.
  5. Todas las cartas ALPHA ofrecen 10% de bonificación en la recompensa de SPS al usarlos en las batallas de clasificación. Las cartas de foil dorado ofrecen una bonificación extra de 10% y en este caso por ser ALPHA la bonificación total es de 20%.
  6. Las cartas de promoción ofrecen una bonificación extra de 10% en la recompensa de SPS al usarlos en las batallas de clasificación; en este caso por ser ALPHA la bonificación es de 20% y si es de foil dorado la bonificación total será de 30%.
  7. Aparecen por primera vez los elementos fuego, agua, tierra, vida, muerte y dragón, cada uno con cartas comunes, raras, épicas y legendarias.
  8. Cada elemento tiene 1 invocador raro. El elemento dragón tiene un invocador extra que es legendario.
  9. El uso estricto de las cartas ALPHA corresponde a una de las riñas de las Brawl que se pueden encontrar desde la arena tier 4, riña 10, así como en algunos torneos.

BETA EDITION

  1. There are 146 new cards for the BETA edition: 79 cards are BETA, 49 are rewards during daily battles, 12 are ESSENCE ORBS and 6 are promotional.
  2. 59 ALPHA cards appear to have a version in the BETA subset with exactly the same stats but minor differences in art. The other 4 remaining ALPHA cards are promotional ones and do not have the BETA version.
  3. BETA cards offer 5% bonus SPS reward when used in Ranked Battles. Likewise, promotional cards offer a 10% bonus and gold foil cards offer an additional 10% bonus. The bonus percentage for promo cards and gold foil cards applies to all subsequent editions.
  4. BETA cards have lower power than ALPHA cards.
  5. 25 new skills appear, including that of summoners.
  6. First mana card 0.
  7. There are 20 summoners: 6 with similar art to ALPHA cards but with the same stats, 6 epic cards, 7 legendary cards and 1 common card, so far the only common summoner from splinterlands.
  8. There is a new element, “neutral”, and they do not have summoners but can support all the rest of the elements.

EDICIÓN BETA

  1. Son 146 nuevas cartas para la edición BETA: 79 cartas son BETA, 49 son de recompensa durante la batallas diarias, 12 son ESSENCE ORBS y 6 son de promoción.
  2. Aparecen 59 cartas ALPHA tienen una versión en el subconjunto BETA exactamente con las mismas estadísticas pero pequeñas diferencias en el arte. Las otras 4 cartas ALPHA restantes son las de promoción y no tienen la versión BETA.
  3. Las cartas BETA ofrecen 5% de bonificación en la recompensa de SPS al usarlos en las batallas de clasificación. Igualmente las cartas de promoción ofrecen 10% de bonificación y las cartas de foil dorada 10% de bonificación adicional. El porcentaje de bonificación para las cartas de promoción y las cartas de foil dorada se aplica para todo el resto de las ediciones siguientes.
  4. Las cartas BETA tienen un poder inferior a las ALPHA.
  5. Aparecen 25 habilidades nuevas incluyendo la de los invocadores.
  6. Primera carta de mana 0.
  7. Hay 20 invocadores: 6 con un arte similar a las cartas ALPHA pero con las mismas estadísticas, 6 cartas épicas, 7 cartas legendarias y 1 carta común, hasta ahora el único invovador común de splinterlands.
  8. Hay un elemento nuevo, “neutral”, y no tienen invocadores pero pueden apoyar a todo el resto de los elementos.

UNTAMED EDITION

  1. There are 148 new cards in the UNTAMED edition: 84 cards are UNTAMED, 36 are reward cards, 25 are DICE cards and 3 are promotional cards.
  2. 16 new skills appear.
  3. There are 20 new summoners and the rest are monsters.
  4. They have lower power than BETA cards.
  5. The UNTAMED edition brought the best summoners at the time since they were decisive for victory. Some of them are still the most expensive on the card market.

EDICIÓN UNTAMED

  1. Son 148 nuevas cartas de la edición UNTAMED: 84 cartas son UNTAMED, 36 son de recompensa, 25 son DICE y 3 son de promoción.
  2. Aparecen 16 nuevas habilidades.
  3. Hay 20 invocadores nuevos y el resto son monstruos.
  4. Tienen un poder inferior a las cartas BETA.
  5. La edición UNTAMED trajo en su momento los mejores invocadores ya que eran determinantes para la victoria. Algunos de ellos siguen siendo los mas costosos en el mercado de cartas.

CHAOS LEGION EDITION

  1. There are 230 new cards for the CAOS LEGION edition: 103 cards are CAOS LEGION, 76 are rewards, 43 are RIFTWATCHERS and 8 are promotional cards.
  2. 14 new skills appear.
  3. There are 26 new summoners and the rest are monsters.
  4. They have lower power than the cards in the UNTAMED edition.
  5. 5 mana 0 legendary cards appear.
  6. 6 new summoners are revealed that have the ability to summon at least one GLADIUS card in daily ranking battles.
  7. The first neutral summoner appears. In this way the neutral element is not only capable of supporting the other elements but also has its own summoner.
  8. A set of reward cards appears that, although they can be used, cannot be sold, delegated, burned or rented for a certain period of time that will expire after the delivery of these cards runs out.

EDICIÓN CHAOS LEGION

  1. Son 230 cartas nuevas para la edición CHAOS LEGION: 103 cartas son CHAOS LEGION, 76 son de recompensa, 43 son de RIFTWATCHERS y 8 son de promoción.
  2. Aparecen 14 nuevas habilidades.
  3. Hay 26 invocadores nuevos y el resto son monstruos.
  4. Tienen un poder inferior a las cartas de la edición UNTAMED.
  5. Aparecen 5 cartas legendarias de mana 0.
  6. Se revelan 6 nuevos invocadores que tienen la habilidad de invocar al menos una carta GLADIUS en las batallas diarias de clasificación.
  7. Aparece el primer invocador neutro. De esta manera el elemento neutro no solamente es capaz de apoyar los demas elementos sino que tambien tiene su propio invocador
  8. Aparece un conjunto de cartas de recompensa que aunque se pueden usar no pueden ser vendidas, delegadas, quemadas ni alquiladas durante un periodo de tiempo determinado que se cumplirá luego de que se agote la entrega de estas cartas.

GLADIUS EDITION

  1. There are 32 cards from the GLADIUS edition.
  2. There is 1 new ability that is characteristic of all cards in this edition, BLOODLUST.
  3. The only way to get these cards is through the GLADIUS PACKS and they can only be obtained through the clan store and therefore you must belong to one of them.
  4. Merits are obtained as rewards after participating in BRAWL as well as rewards from ranking battles.
  5. They can only be used in BRAWL unless you have a special summoner like the ones in the CHAOS LEGION edition.
  6. They cannot be sold, rented or delegated.

EDICIÓN GLADIUS

  1. Son 32 cartas de la edición GLADIUS.
  2. Hay 1 habilidad nueva que es característica en todas las cartas de esta edición, BLOODLUST.
  3. La única forma de conseguir estas cartas es por medio de los PACKS GLADIUS y solo se pueden obtener a traves de la tienda del clan y por lo tanto debes pertener a uno de ellos.
  4. Los méritos se obtienen como recompensa luego de participar en las BRAWL así como en las recompensas de las batallas de clasificación.
  5. Solo se pueden usar en las BRAWL a menos que se dispongas de un invocador especial como los que estan en la edición CHAOS LEGION.
  6. No pueden ser vendidas, alquiladas ni delegadas.

REBELLION EDITION
On December 5, a new set of cards corresponding to the REBELLION edition will be added to Splinterlands. What is known about REBELLION?

  1. There will be 96 new cards from the REBELLION edition, 2 of them will be promotional.
  2. 4 new skills will be revealed. So far the description of each skill is known but it is not known how it will be used in battles.
  3. 1 common summoner will appear. In this way it would be the second of all splinterlands.
  4. The same summoner for 2 elements.
  5. A summoner with 2 skills, one of which can be selected just before the start of the battle.
  6. They will fight to establish balance against CHAOS. To do this you will have 4 new skills:
  7. Armored Strike: Any unit with this ability gains an EXTRA melee attack using its Armor stat. This allows characters to improvise with lethal force, using their gauntlets, shields, helmets, or perhaps physical attributes (beaks, hard shells, etc.) as weapons!
  8. Corrosive Ward: When hit with a melee attack, a unit with this skill deals 2 damage to the attacker's armor AND reduces the attacker's maximum armor by 2. This is the nemesis of the repair skill. You can't repair something that has melted into an acidic substance! Note that this only affects armored units.
  9. Flank: If the unit with this skill is in first position, then the unit in second position gains the Reach skill. Prepare to take advantage of positioning and the element of surprise. Now your first two units can work together to take down the enemy tank!
  10. Lookout: A unit with this ability results in adjacent allies taking one less damage from attackers with Sneak, Sniper, and Chance. Warn your team when stalkers approach from the shadows. It's always a good idea to have a lookout!

EDICIÓN REBELLION
El 5 de diciembre se incorpora a splinterlands un nuevo conjunto de cartas correspondiente a la edición REBELLION. ¿Que se sabe de REBELLION?

  1. Serán 96 nuevas cartas de la edición REBELLION, 2 de ellas serán de promoción.
  2. Se revelaran 4 nuevas habilidades. Hata ahora se conoce la descripción de cada habilidad pero no se sabe como será su uso en las batallas.
  3. Aparecera 1 invocador común. De esta manera sería el segundo de toda splinterlands.
  4. Un mismo invocador para 2 elementos.
  5. Un invocador con 2 habilidades la cual se podrá seleccionar una de ellas justo antes del comienzo de la batalla.
  6. Lucharan para establecer el equilibrio en contra del CAOS. Para ello contaran con 4 nuevas habilidades:
  7. Armored Strike: cualquier unidad con esta habilidad obtiene un ataque cuerpo a cuerpo ADICIONAL usando su estadística de Armadura. ¡Esto permite a los personajes improvisar con fuerza letal, usando sus guanteletes, escudos, cascos o quizás atributos físicos (picos, caparazones duros, etc.) como armas!
  8. Corrosive Ward: cuando es golpeada con un ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, una unidad con esta habilidad causa 2 daños a la armadura del atacante Y reduce la armadura máxima del atacante en 2. Esta es la némesis de la habilidad de reparación. ¡No se puede reparar algo que se ha derretido hasta convertirse en una sustancia ácida! Tenga en cuenta que esto sólo afecta a las unidades con armadura.
  9. Flank: si la unidad con esta habilidad está en la primera posición, entonces la unidad en la segunda posición gana la habilidad Alcance. Prepárese para aprovechar el posicionamiento y el elemento sorpresa. ¡Ahora tus dos primeras unidades pueden trabajar juntas para derribar el tanque enemigo!
  10. Lookout: una unidad con esta habilidad da como resultado que los aliados adyacentes reciban un daño menos de los atacantes con Furtivo, Francotirador y Oportunidad. Avisa a tu equipo cuando los acosadores se acerquen desde las sombras. ¡Siempre es una buena idea tener un puesto de observación!
