Hey dear Hive friends, first of all I would like to wish you all a pleasant day and hope you are all well and have a great Friday! In this post, I would like to talk about Greek mythology and hope you can learn something new.

Here I present you some works of art that I have created with the help of artificial intelligence and are supposed to represent Cerberus, which is also known as hybrid creature from Greek mythology. Cerberus is also known as the child of Echidna and Typhon and is also referred to as a helldog which has three heads and guards the entrance to the underworld of Hades. He is also depicted as an immortal being who had enormous powers and tears up everyone who approaches him and was portrayed as an ugly creature and there are various traditions and according to Hesiod he even had 50 heads. Everyone who approached the underworld was attacked by him and it is said in some legends that he even greets the souls with his snake-like tail but does not let them leave the underworld again. This creature is often depicted in various works of art such as on ancient Greek vases and numerous other artists have also been inspired by Greek mythology and the team of Splinterlands has also created a card of him.

Only a few managed to defeat this helldog and this was the hero Heracles who, as part of his 12 tasks he had received, had to fight the dog and take him to Eurystheus. Heracles managed to defeat him with his enormous power and thus passed this task and if you want to learn more about this hero figure, you will find a contribution from me about him here. Even the singer and poet orpheus managed to defeat Cerberus and he succeeded with the help of his voice in which he put the Cerberus in a kind of trance state through the singing in order to be able to sneak past him. The Cerberus is also related to the origin of plants and according to legends wolfsbane, which is also called Aconitum, grew at the point where he had lost his saliva. At the end of my contribution, I would like to give away 3 x Cerberus in the form of Splinterlands cards to the community and I will announce the winners in seven days!
