Un BRIAR PATCH bien entendido y sucumbiendo ante un BLOODLUST implacable: battle mage secrets

En la condición de batalla “BRIAR PATCH" los atacantes cuerpo a cuerpo recibirán de su propia medicina, es decir, si el ataque de estos es efectivo recibirán un contraataque de 02 puntos, el cual si bien no tiene forma de ser esquivado, puede ser mitigado con la presencia de la habilidad SHIELD; sin embargo la presencia del “BRIAR PATCH" es un llamado de atención para no usar atacantes cuerpo a cuerpo y priorizar el ataque a distancia. La otra condición de batalla es "BORN AGAIN", casualmente la condición temática del Battle Mage Secrets de la semana anterior, donde cada monstruo tiene la oportunidad de la auto resurrección, y regresar a la batalla con un punto de vida.

In the battle condition "BRIAR PATCH" the melee attackers will receive their own medicine, that is, if their attack is effective they will receive a counterattack of 02 points, which although it has no way to be dodged, it can be mitigated with the presence of the SHIELD skill; however the presence of the "BRIAR PATCH" is a warning not to use melee attackers and prioritize the ranged attack. The other battle condition is "BORN AGAIN", coincidentally the thematic condition of last week's Battle Mage Secrets, where each monster has the chance of self-resurrection, and return to battle with one life point.

Análisis de las alineaciones empleadas en la batalla - Analysis of the alignments used in the battle

En esta batalla fuimos testigos del enfrentamiento de los splinters Muerte y Tierra, a cargo de los invocadores THADDIUS BROOD y WIZARD OF EASTWOOD respectivamente, siendo esta última elección la realizada por mi persona. En la siguiente imagen se puede apreciar una magistral interpretación de la condición de batalla BRIAR PATCH, solo la presencia de un atacante cuerpo a cuerpo por equipo, y en cartas de mana cero, como lo son el FURIOUS CHICKEN y CORPSE FIEND.

In this battle we witnessed the confrontation of the splinters Death and Earth, in charge of the summoners THADDIUS BROOD and WIZARD OF EASTWOOD respectively, the latter being my choice. In the following image you can appreciate a masterful interpretation of the battle condition BRIAR PATCH, only the presence of one melee attacker per team, and in zero mana cards, such as FURIOUS CHICKEN and CORPSE FIEND.

El principal factor desequilibrante en esta batalla es la presencia del legendario USUT, una elección fantástica por parte de mi rival dado que el BLOODLUST de este monstruo ayudará a que todas sus estadísticas se incrementen de forma prácticamente constante en el desarrollo de la batalla, por ejemplo en la siguiente imagen nos encontramos en la ronda 02, y USUT ya intimida con su fuerza de ataque y velocidad.

The main unbalancing factor in this battle is the presence of the legendary USUT, a fantastic choice by my opponent since the BLOODLUST of this monster will help all his stats to increase almost constantly in the development of the battle, for example in the following image we are in round 02, and USUT already intimidates with his attack strength and speed.

De allí el título de la publicación "sucumbiendo ante la presencia de un BLOODLUST implacable", realmente USUT fue una pesadilla para todos mis monstruos, y como lo señalé anteriormente una elección super acertada por parte de mi rival, porque ante la posibilidad de auto resurrección de los monstruos y a sabiendas que estos regresarán con un punto de vida a la batalla, la alimentación del BLOODLUST está asegurada y de forma continua, en la ronda cuatro USUT es una máquina asesina.

Hence the title of the post "succumbing to the presence of a relentless BLOODLUST", really USUT was a nightmare for all my monsters, and as I pointed out above a super wise choice on the part of my opponent, because given the possibility of self-resurrection of the monsters and knowing that they will return with a point of life to the battle, the feeding of BLOODLUST is assured and continuously, in round four USUT is a killing machine.

De mi parte fue un planteamiento un tanto débil, especialmente desde la perspectiva de no usar fuertes antídotos ante la magia o ataque de arqueros, que eran formas de ataque muy probables de estar presente en la batalla producto de la condición temática BRIAR PATCH. Si usé al FAILED SUMMONER que tiene MAGIC REFLECT pero obviamente no fue suficiente, el ataque de USUT fue descomunal, para la ronda 06 todo estaba sentenciado a favor de mi rival.

On my part it was a somewhat weak approach, especially from the perspective of not using strong antidotes against magic or archer attacks, which were very likely to be present in the battle due to the thematic condition BRIAR PATCH. I did use the FAILED SUMMONER that has MAGIC REFLECT but obviously it was not enough, USUT's attack was huge, for round 06 everything was sentenced in favor of my rival.

Todas las batallas dejan importantes enseñanzas, esta en particular demuestra lo útil que puede ser USUT para sorprender al oponente en una batalla de bajo mana, donde no te esperas con monstruos que ataquen tan fuerte. De los 19 puntos de mana que se disponían en la batalla, mi rival empleo 10 en USUT, algo arriesgado pero que funcionó. All battles leave important lessons, this one in particular shows how useful USUT can be to surprise the opponent in a low mana battle, where you don't expect monsters that attack so hard.
