Brawls Are The Bomb

avatar

As a casual Splinterlands player who is not a "real gamer" in any sense of the word, I have to say I am really enjoying Brawls.

Why?

Because I know I am playing against another human player...or at least that's what it feels like to me. In the lower leagues of Novice and Bronze, it's likey that during a traditional battle I am playing against a bot. One that is more capable and well-versed in game play than I am.

Of course, that could be said of most of the human players who play Splinterlands in comparison to my haphazard game play. But there is something different about a Brawl. It feels real to me. Plus the fact the game play process is spaced out is a big help when my calendar and schedule are filled to the brim. I can set an alarm to remind me to come back to join, set my lineup, and then check the results.

Over the last few months, it's been my newfound interest in Brawls that has kept Splinterlands in my sights. Otherwise, I'll let this go by the wayside because the kind of time commitment the new game play requires to have any real benefit and value is beyond the time I have available these days.

So, while it may have taken me a long time to understand the value Brawl has to offer me, I am so glad I was persistent in my desire to figure it out.

If you are like me and have had to put Splinterlands game play to the side for whatever reason, I highly recommend trying your hand at a Brawl or two.
