Splinterlands...It's Been A While

The last few months have been...extra. In every sense of the word. Extra projects, extra busy, extra time needed to recoup from the move. So when life gets "extra" a few things will need to give way to make space. One of the many things that gave way was Splinterlands.

This all happened about the time the airdrop stopped and the new mode of game play and reward system was put in place. I didn't have time to really get a handle on it and opted to wait until I had time to get a sense of the new Splinterlands.

Occasionally, I would play a game here or there. I would join a brawl just to get a sense of how it works. I lose way more than I win, so I'm still figuring that out. But for the most part I was MIA from Splinterlands.

Tonight I decided to play a few rounds. And I advance to Bronze III from Novice which made me laugh. It's been sooooo long and while this is small potatoes to most folks, for me it felt great!

So, here I am sharing my silly advancement to Bronze III because it has been so long since I've played and this brought me a measure of joy.

Thank you for indulging me. It's late night, but I think I'll play a few more rounds just to have a little fun before I hit the hay.
