Splinterlands Art Contest Week 185- (ESP-ENG) Wood Nymph by Eugelys

Hoy estoy de visita por esta comunidad para presentarles un dibujo inspirado en la carta de Wood Nimph de Splinterlands, esta es una de mis castas favoritas y es que de hecho el mazo de tierra es mi mazo favorito, esta carta me gusta mucho por su capacidad de renovar la vida del tanque que estemos usando, siempre la usaba junto con el Flesh Golem pero como e han sumado nuevas cartas al juego ahora suelo usarla con el Unicorn Mustang, una carta que no poseo pero que el juego me presta (¡Todo un plus!).

Today I am visiting this community to present a drawing inspired by the Wood Nimph card from Splinterlands, this is one of my favorite castes and in fact the land deck is my favorite deck, I really like this card for its ability to renew the life of the tank we are using, I always used it along with the Flesh Golem but as new cards have been added to the game now I usually use it with the Unicorn Mustang, a card that I do not own but that the game lends me (A plus!).

Les comparto un poco de la manera en la cual realicé este dibujo, apenas en diciembre adquirí una pequeña tableta gráfica y he estado haciendo algunas prácticas de dibujo digital, enfocada en realizar todo en Medibang Paint Pro (esto incluye el boceto). ¡Espero que les agrade este dibujo de la simpática ninfa de madera de Splinterlands!.

I share with you a little bit of the way in which I made this drawing, just in December I acquired a small graphic tablet and I have been doing some digital drawing practices, focused on making everything in Medibang Paint Pro (this includes the sketch). ¿Cómo lo hice? ^{How did I do?}

• Empecé realizando el boceto de una cabeza y cuello, generalmente uso la herramienta lápiz para esto o la herramienta pluma(tinta), debo decirles que este boceto no me quedo muy bien pero de igual forma lo usé de guía para hacer el lineart del dibujo.

I started making a sketch of a head and neck, I usually use the pencil tool for this or the pen tool (ink), I must tell you that this sketch didn't look very good but I used it as a guide to make the lineart of the drawing.

• Una vez que tuve el lineart de esta simpática hada, fui llenando de color el dibujo, en la parte superior del dibujo coloqué los colores los cuales tomé de la carta de Splinterlands usando la herramienta cuentagotas.

Once I had the lineart of this nice fairy, I filled the drawing with color, in the upper part of the drawing I placed the colors which I took from the Splinterlands chart using the eyedropper tool.

• Agregué el iris a los ojos, también añadí un color más claro en el borde con la herramienta Aerógrafo y activando la protección alfa de la capa, también añadí unas largas pestañas.

I added the iris to the eyes, I also added a lighter color on the rim with the Airbrush tool and activated the alpha protection of the layer, I also added some long eyelashes.

• Dupliqué la capa de la piel y coloque un verde más claro y baje la opacidad. Luego procedí a agregar luces y sombras al dibujo, empezando por el cabello, luego seguí con el rostro, coloqué las luces a los ojos que tanta vida le dan éstos, añadí una parte más oscura en la nariz para ir sumando algo de relieve al dibujo, sumé una luz amarilla en los bordes de los ojos pues sentí que esto les daba más expresividad.

I duplicated the skin layer and placed a lighter green and lowered the opacity. Then I proceeded to add lights and shadows to the drawing, starting with the hair, then I continued with the face, I placed the lights on the eyes that give it so much life, I added a darker part in the nose to add some relief to the drawing, I added a yellow light in the edges of the eyes because I felt that this gave them more expressiveness.

Fui añadiendo luces amarillas en el rostro, cuello y torso. También coloqué unos destellos cerca de los ojos, párpados y luz sobre la nariz. Como toque final añadí sombras y luces a la flor, por cierto me encantó dibujarla <3, posteriormente coloqué mi fondo con líneas horizontales, siento que ya es una parte de mi sello personal, para completar añadí mi firma.

I added yellow lights on the face, neck, and torso. I also placed some highlights near the eyes, eyelids, and light on the nose. As a final touch, I added shadows and lights to the flower, by the way, I loved to draw it <3, then I placed my background with horizontal lines, I feel that it is already a part of my personal stamp, to complete I added my signature.

Esta fue una buena práctica de dibujo digital, me tomo varias horas de varios días y me gustó el resultado final. A mi me encanta usar esta carta, he podido ganar unas cuantas batallas gracias a ella, cada vez que revive al tanque es bastante emocionante, siento que es una alegoría a como algunas personas son capacee de recargarnos de energía y nos ayudan a vencer todo tipo de batallas (hasta filosófica me pongo jajaja). Debo confesar que no soy una muy buen gamer xD...pero igual me divierto especialmente cuando gano :).

This was a good digital drawing practice, it took me several hours over several days and I liked the final result. I love using this card, I've been able to win a few battles thanks to it, every time it revives the tank is quite exciting, I feel it's an allegory of how some people are able to recharge us with energy and help us to win all kinds of battles (I even get philosophical hahaha). I must confess I'm not a very good gamer xD...but I still have fun especially when I win :)
