Splinterlands Art Contest Week 276: Ava the Undaunted

Hello, this time around for my entry into the Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest I decided to go for something a bit simpler so I would be able to have more time and concentration on the background.
This simple work of art took some time to make and I was mostly happy with the result well up to the point where I noticed the misplacement of the cross-bow.
These things happen sometimes especially when you are carried away with highlights, depths, tones and value.

Directly below is the visual representation of the character and as you can see, I was keen on retaining most of the original features. I love doing this now for I know very well that soon when I get an upgraded tool, I would venture into deep realms.
