Hello friends, I hope you are very well, today I want to show you my participation in the Splinterlands 247 contest, this time I have made a Cyberpunk-style sculpture of the Lava Spider card, a powerful black widow spider with volcanic power. To make this sculpture I have used mostly computer parts, to give it a robotic and futuristic aspect without losing its essence, I used a total of 16 damaged hard drives, a mouse, a damaged webcam and also an umbrella, with the fusion of all These materials I have achieved this sculpture that I hope you like.

Hola amigos espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero mostrar ante ustedes mi participación en el concurso 247 de Splinterlands, en esta oportunidad he realizado una escultura de estilo Cyberpunk de la carta Lava Spider, una poderosa araña viuda negra con el poder volcánico. Para hacer esta escultura he utilizado piezas de computadora en su mayoría, para darle un aspecto robótico y futurista sin perder su esencia, utilicé un total de 16 discos duros dañados, un ratón, una webcam dañada y también un paraguas, con la fusión de todos estos materiales he logrado esta escultura que espero que les guste.

As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, these are the materials I used, 16 computer hard drives like this, I needed to use the drive needles as well as the screws. A mouse that he no longer used because it was damaged, fortunately the red led was still working so that way he could turn it on to maintain the essence of Lava Spider. So also a webcam, at least the movement system, the objective is to unite these pieces to form the body of the Spider.

Como mencioné en el párrafo anterior, estos son los materiales que usé, 16 discos duros de computadora como este, necesitaba utilizar las agujas lectoras de los discos al igual los tornillos. Un ratón que ya no utilizaba porque estaba dañado, por fortuna el led rojo aun le funcionaba así que se esa manera podría encenderlo para mantener la esencia de Lava Spider. Así también una webcam, al menos el sistema de movimiento, el objetivo es unir estas piezas para formar el cuerpo de la Araña.

To join part of the webcam with the mouse I opened some small holes with a drill, these holes are enough to introduce small screws, in total I made 3 holes for 3 screws and I also reinforced with glue. Then, I disassembled all the discs and removed all the reading needles, in the first part I will use 8 needles.

Para unir parte de la webcam con el ratón abrí unos pequeños hoyos con un taladro, estos hoyos son lo suficiente como para introducir pequeños tornillos, en total hice 3 agujeros para 3 tornillos y también reforcé con pegamento. Luego, desarme todos los discos y extraje todas las agujas lectoras, en la primera parte utilizaré 8 agujas.

As the species of Lava Spider is a black widow, its limbs are distributed differently, it is not the same as a tarantula, for example, keeping this in mind, I first start by placing 4 needles on the sides, which usually go horizontally to the body . To hold them I do it with small screws and join them at the bottom.

Como la especie de Lava Spider es una viuda negra, sus extremidades están distribuidas de manera diferente, no es igual por ejemplo a una tarántula, teniendo esto en mente primero comienzo colocando 4 agujas en los costados, que estas sulene ir de forma horizontal al cuerpo. Para sujetarlas lo hago con tornillos pequeños y las uno por la parte inferior.

The next step was to place the last 4 needles that work as the support of the extremities, black widows have very long extremities, here I put each needle pointing to a different place so that they do not collide with each other later.

El siguiente paso fue colocar las últimas 4 agujas que funcionan como el sostén de las extremidades, las viudas negras tiene las extremidades muy largas, aquí puse cad aaguja apuntando a un lugar diferente para que luego no choquen unas con otras.

The last step is to finish with the extremities, in order to complete it I used the opening system of a damaged umbrella, I disassembled it piece by piece to see which one I could use. I really liked incorporating these pieces because the spider would move, thanks to this system, and it would look even more robotic. I was also fixing each piece with a screw, but I did not adjust them with all the pressure so that the movement of the extremities was fluid. In this way the sculpture of Lava Spider was finished.

El último paso es terminar con las extremindades, para poder completarla usé el sistema de apertura de un paraguas dañado, lo desarmé pieza por pieza para ver cual podía utilizar. Me gustó mucho incorporar estas piezas porque la arña quedaría con movimiento, gracias a este sistema, además de que luciría aun más robótica. Fui fijando cada pieza tambien con un tornillo, pero no los ajusté con toda la presión para que el movimiento de las extremidades fuera fluido. De esta manera quedó finalizada la escultura de Lava Spider.

As you can see, this is how the cyberpunk sculpture of Lava Spider looked, when I put it on the table, I made many movements of its limbs and they turned out great, with an electronic system I think it would have the perfect movement of a robot. LA is culture was very big, it exceeded my expectations, it is 65 centimeters long, 48 centimeters wide by 15 centimeters high, a true monstrosity hehehe, it's good that there are no insects of this size, because it would be very terrifying. Como pueden ver, así quedo la escultura cyberpunk de Lava Spider, al ponerla encima de la mesa, hice muchos movimientos de sus extremidades y quedaron geniales, con un sistema electrónico creo que tendría el movimiento perfecto de un robot. La es cultura quedó muy grande, superó mis expectativas, tiene un largo de 65 centímteros, por un ancho de 48 centímetros por 15 centímetros de altura, una verdadera monstruosidad jejeje, que bueno que no existen insectos de este tamaño, porque sería muy aterrador. Me gusto mucho haber escogido esta carta por su diseño y por pertenecer al reino animal, espero que les haya gustado y lo hayan encontrado interesante, quienes me conocen saben que me gusta darle oportunidad a las cosas desechadas y darle una nueva forma muy diferente, y esta vez siento que lo logré, me despido hasta la próxima, esperando participar de nuevo.
