Splinterlands Art Contest 278 - VAMPIRE BAT FAN ART DRAWING

Hello dear friends, I hope you are feeling very well, this time I want to participate in the weekly Splinterlands 268 contest with a fan art drawing of the Vampire Bat card, a very cool card where it presents us with a creature of the night that feeds of blood. In my fan art I tried to make a realistic style vampire in full flight with its wings moving to reach speed, I hope you like it.

Hola queridos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, en esta oportunidad quiero participar en el concurso semanal de Splinterlands 268 con un dibujo fan art de la carta Vampire Bat, una carta muy genial donde nos presenta a una criatura de la noche que se alimenta de sangre. En mi fan art traté de hacer un vampiro de estilo realista en pleno vuelo con sus alas moviéndose para alcanzar velocidad, espero que les guste.

I chose black cardboard, I think that for a creature of the night it is the best background, I made a sketch with lines to model the figure of the bat, especially the wings. I was trying various positions with the wings but I liked making it as if it were flapping.

Elegí cartulina negra, creo que para una criatura de la noche es el mejor fondo, hice un boceto con líneas para ir modelando la figura del murciélago especialmente las alas. Las alas estuve probando varias posiciones pero me gustó hacerla como si estuviera aleteando.

Then I change to a different color, in this case white charcoal, to make the edges of the figure better, so it can better reflect the light. In the same way, I am doing the interior of the drawing, giving more shape to the wings, which have always caught my attention, since they look like those of a dragon.

Después cambio a un color diferente en este caso color blanco de carboncillo para hacer mejor los bordes de la figura, y así pueda reflejar mejor la luz. De la misma forma voy haciendo el interior del dibujo como darle más forma a las alas las cuales siempre me han llamado la atención, ya que parecen las de un dragón.

Next I begin to reflect the light rays on the wings, here I will make a contrast of several colors but I start with the white color so that it is the base and thus the other tones can be mixed better.

Seguidamente comienzo a hacer el reflejo de los rayos de luz sobre las alas, aquí hare un contraste de varios colores pero comienzo con el color blanco para que sea la base y así se pueda mezclar mejor los otros tonos.

As I mentioned before, I set out to give the wings a little different lighting since that part of the bats' skin is translucent. It is certainly a very impressive creature. With the color black, although it seems redundant, I paint the inside of the bat's body so that it contrasts with the wings.

Como mencioné anteriormente, me dispuse a darle una iluminación a las alas un poco diferente ya que esa parte de la piel de los murciélagos es traslúcida. Sin duda es una criatura muy impresionante. Con el color negro, aunque parezca redundante, pinto el interior del cuerpo del murciélago para que haga contraste con las alas.

In the end, to give a touch of good terror to the drawing, I only drew two flat points, for the eyes, that is the symbol of the vision that bats have in the dark, seeing beyond what others cannot.

Al final, para darle un toque de buen terror al dibujo, solamente dibujé dos puntos blancos, para los ojos, eso es el símbolo de la visión que tienen los murciélagos en la oscuridad, ver más allá de lo que los demás no pueden.

This is how my Fan Art of the Vampire Bat card was finished, the sad news is that this was my last sheet of black cardboard, so if this week I don't buy a new drawing block, I won't be able to continue drawing in this style, without However, I have others left. For me it is always a pleasure to be able to participate, and also to be able to see the amazing creations that all my friends make. Así quedó finalizado mi Fan Art de la carta Vampire Bat, una triste noticia es que esta fue mi última hoja de cartulina de color negro, así que si esta semana no compro un block de dibujos nuevo, no podre seguir dibujando ene ste estilo, sin embargo me quedan otros. Para mi siempre es un placer poder participar, y así también poder ver las asombrosas creaciones que hacen todos mis amigos. Por esta ocasión me despido esperando cosas nueva, les deseo mucha saluz y paz a todos!
