Battles of The Day: DARK ARBORIST

I keep being surprised by the large amount of new rewards cards that I have not seen yet and I thought they were not so many, but at least a week I get two or three new cards that I had never seen before, so so far I always have enough excitement to open a chest and not knowing what card I'm going to get, as long as it is not a trash like potions, everything else is fine. The card that stars today's post is one of my favorite deck, which as I have said many times is the DEATH deck, it is a card that is of the Magic Attack type and although it does not have a lot of stats, it has two aspects that I personally like a lot, one of them is its low mana cost, since this card has a mana value of 4 points and its other aspect is that it has the ability "Demoralize", so it is a good card to be used if the enemy uses several cards of the Melee type. This card is: DARK ARBORIST, a card that also has a very interesting design being the highlight its blue color palette, which look pretty good.

Before I show the battle I did with this card, these were the rewards I got with the new system of rewards for League Rising, although I'll be honest, I still don't understand very well how it works, but it's always good to get reward chests. I was able to get two very good gold cards from a card I already had but in its normal version and also, I got a new card which I have many times to use. But without further ado, here is today's battle of the day with the main card DARK ARBORIST:

This battle is composed almost entirely by cards of the Magic Attack type, only occupying a position a card of the Melee type, which occupies the first position and that card is: CURSED WINDEKU, a card that I like a lot, especially when it can fight against other cards of the same type, because when it has the ability "Thorns" it is able that when it receives damage from a card of the Melee type, it can cause damage to itself thanks to the effect of the thorns, it is also a card that when it has very good stats, it can cause a lot of damage. In the following positions from the second to the last are exclusively Magic Attack type cards, being the first of them and occupying the second position is: UNDEAD PRIEST, which is besides being an excellent card thanks to its stats, is a fairly old card that I use a lot even though many players no longer do, this is one of my first cards in Splinterlands and I keep quite fond of it. In third position is one of my favorite cards of the DEATH deck and one of my favorite cards of the Magic Attack type, that card is: REVEALER, this is one of my favorite cards because of its ability "Stun", an ability that when it takes effect momentarily paralyzes a card, so it gives you quite an advantage, it also has the ability that makes it immune to negative buffs.

In fourth position is another card of the Magic Attack type that is excellent for its duo of abilities, it has the "Life Leech" ability, being able to increase its life points every time it does damage to a card, so it can accumulate many life points and also has the "Poison" ability, therefore this card, as long as this second ability takes effect, can cause a lot of damage per turn, this card is VENARI BONESMITH. In penultimate position is another card whose abilities are buff negative for my opponent, it has the abilities "Slow" and "Rust"; affecting the speed and armor of the cards of my opponents, being these effects really good, I think they are especially better against Melee cards, although in general they serve quite well and the card I'm talking about is: BOOGEYMAN. And in last position is the main card of today's post: DARK ARBORIST, a card that after using it in several battles I liked it a lot and now I really want to level it up and get more out of everything it has to offer. It's always nice to get new cards that fit very well with your fighting style and strategies.

BATTLE

Me sigo sorprendiendo de la gran cantidad de nuevas cartas rewards que aún no he visto y pensé que no eran tantas, pero al menos a la semana obtengo dos o tres nuevas cartas que nunca había visto antes, por lo que hasta los momentos siempre tengo bastante emoción al abrir un cofre y no saber que carta voy a obtener, siempre y cuando no sea una basura como pociones, todo lo demás está bien. La carta que protagoniza el post de hoy es una de mi mazo favorito, el cual como he dicho muchas veces es el mazo DEATH, es una carta que es del tipo Ataque Mágico y aunque no cuenta con gran cantidad stats, cuenta con dos aspectos que en lo personal me gusta mucho, uno de ellos es su bajo coste de mana, ya que esta carta tiene un valor de mana de 4 puntos y su otro aspecto es que cuenta con la habilidad “Demoralize”, por lo que es una buena carta para ser utilizada si el enemigo utiliza varias cartas del tipo Melee. Dicha carta es: DARK ARBORIST, una carta que además cuenta con un diseño bastante interesante siendo lo más destacado su paleta de colores azules, los cuales se ven bastante bien.

Antes de mostrar la batalla que realice con esta carta, estas fueron las recompensas que obtuve con el nuevo sistema de recompensas por subida de LIGAS, aunque seré sincero, aun no entiendo muy bien cómo funciona, pero siempre vienen bien obtener cofres de recompensa. Pude obtener dos cartas doradas muy buenas de una carta que ya tenía pero en su version normal y además, obtuve una nueva carta la cual tengo muchas veces de utilizar. Pero sin más dilación, esta es la batalla del día de hoy con la carta protagonista DARK ARBORIST:

Esta batalla está compuesta casi en tu totalidad por cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico, tan solo ocupando una posición un carta del tipo Melee, la cual ocupa la primera posición y esa carta es: CURSED WINDEKU, una carta que me gusta bastante, especialmente cuando puede luchar en contra de otras cartas de su mismo tipo, ya que al contar con la habilidad “Thorns” es capaz de que cuando reciba daño por alguna carta del tipo Melee, esta misma pueda causarse daño así misma gracias al efecto de las espinas, además es una carta que al contar con stats muy buenos, puede llegar a causar bastante daño. En la siguientes posiciones desde la segunda hasta la última se encuentran exclusivamente cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico, siendo la primera de ellas y ocupando la segunda posición se encuentra: UNDEAD PRIEST, la cual es además de ser una carta excelente gracias a sus stats, es una carta bastante antigua que utilizo bastante a pesar de que ya muchos jugares ya no lo hacen, esta es una de mis primeras cartas en Splinterlands y le guardo bastante cariño. En tercera posición se encuentra una de mis cartas favoritas del mazo DEATH y una de mis cartas favoritas del tipo Ataque Mágico, esa carta es: REVEALER, esta es una de mis cartas favoritas debido a su habilidad “Stun”, una habilidad que al hacer efecto paraliza momentáneamente a una carta, por lo que te otorga bastante ventaja, además también cuenta con la habilidad que la vuelve inmune ante buff negativos.

En cuarta posición se encuentra otra carta del tipo Ataque Mágico que es excelente por su dúo de habilidades, cuenta con la habilidad “Life Leech”, siendo capaz de aumentar sus puntos de vida cada vez que hace daño a alguna carta, por lo que puede llegar a acumular bastantes puntos de vida y además, también cuenta con la habilidad “Poison”, por ende esta carta, siempre y cuando esta segunda habilidad haga efecto, puede llegar a causar bastante daño por cada turno, esa carta es VENARI BONESMITH. En penúltima posición se encuentra otra carta cuyas habilidades son buff negativos para mi contrincante, cuenta con las habilidades “Slow” y “Rust”; afectando la velocidad y la armadura de las cartas de mis contrincantes, siendo estos efectos realmente buenos, creo que especialmente son mejores en contra de cartas Melee, aunque en general sirven bastante bien y la carta de la cual estoy hablando es: BOOGEYMAN. Y en ultima posición se encuentra la carta protagonista del post de hoy: DARK ARBORIST, una carta que luego de usarla en varias batallas me ha gustado bastante y ahora tengo muchas ganas de subirla de nivel y poder sacarle más provecho a todo lo que puede ofrecer. Siempre es agradable obtener cartas nuevas que encajan muy bien con tu estilo de pelea y estrategias.

BATTLE
