Battles of The Day: Tide Biter [ENG-ESP]

Tide Biter PORTADA.png

One of my favorite skills of all Splinterlands is: "Reach", I especially like to use a card with this ability when all or most of the formation is composed of Melee type cards, a card with "Reach" is quite useful and complementary to a card that is in first position, because that way together with the card that is in first position can cause a greater amount of damage. That is why within the whole range of cards that occupy the ability "Reach" of all Splinterlands I have chosen to be the protagonist card of today to: Tide Biter, which is a Melee type card with the aforementioned ability, a card belonging to the WATER deck and that thanks to its low mana cost is a perfect choice for when you need to not spend too much mana, also, in general terms in terms of its stats, it is a very good card, which stands out for its speed, being a relatively fast card. But anyway, without much ado, these are the battles of the day with the card: Tide Biter.

In this first battle I must admit that I made a strategy not very planned, that is, I did not make a strategy for something in particular, but the chosen cards (except for Tide Biter) were selected a bit randomly, however, the only planned aspect about this strategy was to have chosen the summoner "NAME SPELLER", since I could foresee that my opponent would use some Magic Attack type cards and added to his summoner which grants +1 Magic Attack to his cards, I should not let him have that damage advantage, so the strategy was as follows: Although at the beginning I said that there was not much planning in this strategy, when I saw it again I remembered that the card in first position I had thought of using due to the above mentioned, since: BAAKJIRA, is a perfect card capable of countering enemy Magic Attacks and therefore, at least on this occasion it is a perfect "tank card". In second position is the protagonist card of today: TIDE BITER, a Melee card that with respect to its low mana cost is worth using for various types of strategy.

In third position is a card that recently I have been using a lot since a few weeks ago and that card is: DJINN OSHANNUS, a card of the Magic Attack type that besides being very powerful offensively at the defensive level is also very resistant, but especially resistant against other attacks of the magical type, because like BAAKJIRA, DJINN OSHANNUS also has the ability "Void", but in addition, it has a second ability which is: "Phase", so this card is perfect for fighting against other cards of the same type. In the next position is: MERDAALI GUARDIAN, a card that does not have any offensive ability, but at the level of "support" is an excellent card due to its ability "Tank Heal". And to close this strategy in the last two positions are cards with a mana cost of 0 value, being those cards: TORRENT FIEND and FURIOUS CHICKEN, respectively.

BATTLE 1

Coincidentally the two battles today had very little mana available, having the first one 23 mana to use, while this second battle has even less, only 17 mana points to use, that's why I had to manage very well the cards I was going to send to the battlefield and make the most of their abilities, that's why it occurred to me that in this battle I would use only Melee type cards, the strategy for this second battle is as follows: In first position I placed a card that I no longer use much as I did a few years ago and that card is: DEMENTED SHARK and the reason for having chosen this card derives by the usefulness of its ability, which is: "Inspire", which this time is very useful considering that this formation is composed of Melee type cards, so it is a viable strategy to have advantage over my opponent.

In second position is again the protagonist card of today: TIDE BITER, which due to the ability of DEMENTED SHARK, its attack was enhanced and thus can cause even more damage to my opponent's cards. In third position is a card with another of my favorite abilities, which is "Sneak" and that card is: PELACOR BANDIT, another card that benefits from the "Inspire" ability, capable of causing damage to the rear of my opponent's formation. CREEPING OOZE is a card that is in the next position, whose usefulness in this battle comes from its "Slow" ability, since in this way it gives me an advantage in terms of speed. And again as in the first battle, in the last two positions are: TORRENT FIEND and FURIOUS CHICKEN.

BATTLE 2

BATTLE 1

Tide Biter SEPARADOR.png
