Battles of The Day: Usut [ENG-ESP]

I have obtained very few Legendary cards from this new batch of Rewards cards, in Silver the rate of this type of cards is very low, so you have to be very lucky to get at least one of them, however, in these last two weeks luckily I have obtained two types of legendary cards, one from the WATER deck and another, which will be the protagonist card of today, is from the DEATH deck and that card is: USUT, a card of the Magic Attack type, which has a set of very good stats, however its only negative aspect (although it will also depend a lot on the Battle Rule) is its low speed score, since USUT only has one (1) speed point and its other negative aspect is its high mana cost, costing ten (10) mana points, so it can be used only when you have a large amount of mana available. This is a card that has good abilities such as: "Flying" and "Bloodlust", so it is a card with a great potential for improvement, therefore and without further ado, these are the battles of the day with the USUT card:

In this first battle one of the active Battle Rules was: Reverse Speed, so this time the low speed of USUT fits perfectly, being the strategy for this first battle the following: Both in this first battle and in the second one I focused on using in most of the positions cards of the Magic Attack type. In first position is: RIFTWING, a card that has no attack stats, but has skills that makes it a good "tank card" and worthy to be placed in this first position. Abilities such as: "Flying" to counter physical attacks, as well as "Backfire"; which is an ability that complements perfectly with "Flying" and also has a third ability which is "Scavenger", which allows it to gain one (1) for each card on the battlefield that is eliminated. In second position is: JUNKER, which by possessing the ability "Reach" allows it to be the card that proceeds with the frontal attack, also thanks to its low speed score, makes this card (like several in this formation) perfect for the Reverse Speed Battle Rule.

The next four positions are composed by Magic Attack type cards, being the first of them and occupying the third position is the main card of today: USUT, a card whose ability "Bloodlust" makes the improvement potential of this card is very large, being able to improve for each enemy card that eliminates, however both in this first battle as in the second, USUT could not make use of his ability. In fourth position is: ANCIENT LICH, another card whose very low amount of speed makes it perfect for this occasion, a card that has both low vital points, but thanks to its ability "Life Leech", it can increase its life points while its attacks hit enemy cards. In penultimate position is one of my favorite cards of the DEATH deck and that card is: REVEALER, a card that also has one of my favorite abilities: "Stun"; an ability that in many occasions can be the central axis between victory or defeat. And last but not least is: UNDEAD PRIEST, one of my oldest cards in my collection and a card that despite its low stats does not fail to provide great utility in battle.

BATTLE 1

This second battle is even more focused on cards of the Magic Attack type and in formation two cards that were in the first battle are repeated, being one of them logically USUT. So the strategy was as follows: In first position is one of my oldest cards: HAUNTED SPIRIT, a card of the Melee type that besides being able to heal itself thanks to the ability "HEAL", it is also a good card to counter Magic Attack type cards thanks to its ability "Magic Reflect". Already from the second position all the cards of this second formation are composed of cards of the Magic Attack type, being the first of them and occupying the second position is: SPIRIT MINER, a very important card in several of my strategies and in this particular battle it is more so thanks to its ability that allows you to improve the speed of my cards and especially improving the speed of two cards that are in this battle that possess one (1) single point of speed, being one of those cards, the protagonist of today's post, namely: USUT, which is in the third position as in the first battle.

Occupying the last three (2) positions are cards that share a common ability, which is: "Life Leech", being the first of them and occupying the fourth position is: VENARI BONESMITH, a card that in addition to having the aforementioned ability, also has the ability "POISON", a very important ability to decrease the life of my opponent's cards. In penultimate position is: LIFE SAPPER, another card with the ability "Life Leech", which in this particular card is very important because it only has two (2) life points, so it is very important that this card attacks as quickly as possible and thus be able to accumulate more life points. And in last position is the second card that benefited a lot with the ability of SPIRIT MINER and that card is: ANCIENT LICH, which due to its very low speed score makes this card very slow, logically, but it is also a very dangerous card if it is not eliminated in time.

BATTLE 2

He obtenido muy pocas cartas Legendarias de esta nueva tanda de cartas Rewards, en Plata el rate de este tipo de cartas es muy bajo, por lo que hay que tener mucha suerte para obtener al menos una de ellas, sin embargo, en estas últimas dos semanas por suerte he obtenido dos tipos de cartas legendarias, una del mazo WATER y otra, la cual será la carta protagonista del día de hoy, es del mazo DEATH y esa carta es: USUT, una carta del tipo Ataque Mágico, que cuenta con un conjunto de stats muy buenos, sin embargo su único aspecto negativo (aunque también dependerá mucho de la Regla de Batalla) es su bajo puntaje de velocidad, ya que USUT tan solo cuenta con un (1) punto de velocidad y su otro aspecto negativo es su alto coste de mana, costando diez (10) puntos de mana, por lo que se podrá utilizar únicamente cuando se cuenta con gran cantidad de mana disponible. Esta es una carta que cuenta con buenas habilidades como: “Flying” y “Bloodlust”, por lo que es una carta con un gran potencial de mejora, por lo tanto y sin más dilación, estas son las batallas del día con la carta USUT:

En esta primera batalla una de las Reglas de Batalla activas fue: Reverse Speed, por lo que en esta ocasión la baja velocidad de USUT encaja a la perfección, siendo la estrategia para esta primera batalla la siguiente: Tanto en esta primera batalla como en la segunda me enfoqué en utilizar en la mayoría de las posiciones cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico. En primera posición se encuentra: RIFTWING, una carta que no posee ningún tipo de stats de ataque, pero cuenta con habilidades que la hace una buena “carta tanque” y digna para ser colocaba en esta primera posición. Habilidades como: “Flying” para contrarrestar ataques físicos, así como “Backfire”; la cual es una habilidad que se complementa a la perfección con “Flying” y además, cuenta con una tercera habilidad la cual es “Scavenger”, la cual le permite ganar un (1) por cada carta en el campo de batalla que sea eliminada. En segunda posición se encuentra: JUNKER, la cual al poseer la habilidad “Reach” le permite ser la carta que proceda con el ataque frontal, además gracias a su bajo puntaje de velocidad, hace que esta carta (al igual que varias en esta formación) sea perfecta para la Regla de Batalla Reverse Speed.

Las siguientes cuatro posiciones están compuestas por cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico, siendo la primera de ellas y ocupando la tercera posición se encuentra la carta protagonista del día de hoy: USUT, una carta cuya habilidad “Bloodlust” hace que el potencial de mejora de esta carta sea muy grande, pudiendo mejorar por cada carta enemiga que elimine, sin embargo tanto en esta primera batalla como en la segunda, USUT no pudo hacer uso de su habilidad. En cuarta posición se encuentra: ANCIENT LICH, otra carta cuya bajísima cantidad de velocidad la hace perfecta para esta ocasión, una carta que posee tanto bajos puntos vitales, pero gracias a su habilidad “Life Leech”, hace que pueda aumentar sus puntos de vida mientras sus ataques impacten ante las cartas enemigas. En penúltima posición se encuentra una de mis cartas favoritas del mazo DEATH y esa carta es: REVEALER, una carta que además cuenta con una de mis habilidades favoritas: “Stun”; una habilidad que en muchísimas ocasiones puede ser el eje central entre la victoria o derrota. Y en última posición pero no menos importante se encuentra: UNDEAD PRIEST, una de mis cartas más antiguas de toda mi colección y una carta que a pesar de sus bajos stats no deja de aportar gran utilidad en batalla.

BATTLE 1

Esta segunda batalla está aún más enfocada en cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico y en formación repiten dos cartas que estuvieron en la primera batalla, siendo una de ellas lógicamente USUT. Por lo que la estrategia fue la siguiente: En primera posición se encuentra una de mis cartas más antiguas: HAUNTED SPIRIT, una carta del tipo Melee que además de poder curarse a sí misma gracias a la habilidad “HEAL”, también es una buena carta para contra contras cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico gracias a su habilidad “Magic Reflect”. Ya a partir de la segunda posición todas las cartas de esta segunda formación están compuestas por las del tipo Ataque Mágico, siendo la primera de ellas y ocupando la segunda posición se encuentra: SPIRIT MINER, una carta muy importante en diversas de mis estrategias y en esta batalla en particular lo es más gracias a su habilidad que le permite mejorar la velocidad de mis cartas y especialmente mejorando la velocidad de dos cartas que se encuentran en esta batalla que poseen un (1) solo punto de velocidad, siendo una de esas cartas, la protagonista del post de hoy, es decir: USUT, la cual se encuentra en la tercera posición al igual que en la primera batalla.

Ocupando la tres (2) últimas posiciones se encuentran cartas que comparten una habilidad en común, la cual es: “Life Leech”, siendo la primera de ellas y ocupando la cuarta posición se encuentra: VENARI BONESMITH, una carta que además de contar con la antes mencionada habilidad, también cuenta con la habilidad “POISON”, una habilidad muy importante para ir menguando la vida de las cartas de mi contrincante. En penúltima posición se encuentra: LIFE SAPPER, otra carta con la habilidad “Life Leech”, la cual en esta carta en particular es muy importante ya que esta solo cuenta con dos (2) puntos de vida, por lo que es de gran importancia que esta carta ataque lo más rápido posible y de esta forma poder acumular más puntos de vida. Y en última posición se encuentra la segunda carta que se benefició mucho con la habilidad de SPIRIT MINER y esa carta es: ANCIENTE LICH, que debido a su bajísimo puntaje de velocidad hace que esta carta sea muy lenta, lógicamente, pero es vez una carta muy peligrosa si no se elimina a tiempo.
