Hello, my dear fellow Praetorians
A new post about my performance in Modern and Survival formats last season, plus a look at the reward cards I've added to my battle deck.
Results: Modern and Survival
At the start of the season, my only goal was to play a good number of battles in Modern; since I was ranked in the Gold league, I knew it would be very difficult to secure a high spot in the final season rankings. That’s why I focused solely on winning battles to earn more $SPS and $Glint. It was a surprise when I checked the rankings in the final days and saw that I was in 90th place, hahaha. Once I saw that, I tried to hold onto that spot until the end. As the season wrapped up, as you can see, I managed to finish in 88th place and secured the $Glint bonus.
This season, I managed to reach $10,000 in $SPS staked. I remember that when I first joined, I only had enough to buy a little over 700 $SPS, and I’ve been working hard to save up what I earn from battles and brawls. I hope to keep adding more and be able to let you know when I reach 15k or 20k.
This season I switched brackets; I wanted to try my luck in the mid-tier, and for a while, things went well. However, in the final days of the season I went on a losing streak and ended up losing my spot in the rankings; even though I won a good amount of $Glint and a few copies of Hellion, I lost my spot in the tournament.
Rewards
My available balance for Rewards cards this time was 121,000 $Glint, which I spent on cards ranging from common to legendary.
Skrag the Gnaw: This is a legendary warrior I've wanted for a long time; I've rented him a few times and found him to be a solid melee fighter. I can use him both with his base element (earth) and through his lineage alongside the Archon of the Death element.
His Poison Burst ability is pretty cool; I like how it poisons the attacker who defeated the unit, and the small chance it has of poisoning others. Haha, I like that poison effect.
The other card copies I obtained helped me gather enough to level up a few rare cards and one epic card.

Of those four warriors, I tend to use Saltwraith Bulkhead and Joraki Venshiro the most; that’s why I like being able to boost their power and/or give them new abilities.
Thoughts
I think I’ll keep up the same pace this season; I’ll take it easy, focusing only on earning $SPS and #Glint; in the end, I’ll see if it’s worth the effort to make it into the top 100 of the leaderboard.
On the other hand, I’ll switch brackets again in Survival. I think it’s better if I want to aim for a spot in the tournament.

Al principio de temporada solo tenía planeado tener una buena participación en el número de batallas en Moderno; al estar clasificado en la liga Oro, sabía que sería muy difícil lograr un buen lugar en el rating final de temporada. Por esto me enfoqué solo en ganar batallas para obtener más $SPS y $Glint. Fue una sorpresa cuando vi la clasificación en los últimos días y ver que me encontraba en el puesto 90, jajaja. Desde que vi eso, intenté mantener ese lugar hasta el final. Al cerrar temporada, como pueden ver, logré quedar en el puesto 88 y me hice con el bonus de $Glint.
Durante esta temporada logré llegar a los 10,000 $SPS en stake. Recuerdo que cuando ingresé solo tenía para comprar poco más de 700 $SPS y me he esforzado en ir acumulando lo que gano en las batallas y las brawls. Espero seguir sumando más y poder contarles cuando llegue a 15k o 20k.
Para esta temporada había cambiado de bracket, quería probar suerte en el intermedio y, por un tiempo, me fue bien. Sin embargo, los últimos días de la temporada tuve racha de derrotas y terminé perdiendo mi lugar en la clasificación; aunque gané una buena cantidad de $Glint y unas copias de Hellion, perdí mi entrada al torneo.
Rewards
Mi saldo disponible para cartas Rewards en esta ocasión era de 121,000 $Glint, el cual distribuí desde comunes a una legendaria.
Skrag the Gnaw: Este es un guerrero legendario que quería tener desde hace tiempo; lo había rentado en algunas ocasiones y me pareció que era un buen guerrero cuerpo a cuerpo. Lo puedo usar tanto con su elemento base (tierra) como por su linaje junto al arconte del elemento muerte.
Su habilidad Poison Burst es llamativa; me gusta ese efecto que tiene de envenenar al atacante que derrotó a la unidad y la pequeña posibilidad de envenenar a otras. Jajaja, me gusta ese efecto del veneno.
Las otras copias de cartas que conseguí me ayudaron a completar las necesarias para subir el nivel a algunas raras y una épica.

De esos cuatro guerreros, suelo usar a Saltwraith Bulkhead y Joraki Venshiro más habitualmente; por esto me agrada el poder aumentar su poder y/o que ganen nuevas habilidades.
Pensamientos
Creo que mantendré el mismo ritmo de actividad en la actual temporada; seguiré de forma calmada, buscando solo ganar $SPS y #Glint; al final veré si vale la pena el esfuerzo para quedar entre los 100 primeros de la clasificación.
Por otro lado, volveré a cambiarme de bracket en Survival. Creo que es mejor si quiero apuntar a ganarme una entrada al torneo.
