Greetings friends who love art, crafts and splinterlands. Today I come to show you a sculpture I made inspired by this beautiful piece of art inspired by one of the cards of this great game of the blockchain.

It is a game in which there are monsters and characters that can serve as inspiration for us. They are very varied and colorful, it's something I love the truth, especially these new characters of Rebelion.

Saludos amigos amantes del arte, las manualidades y splinterlands. Hoy me vengo a mostrarles una escultura que hice inspirado en esta hermosa pieza de arte inspirada en una de las cartas de este genial juego de la blockchain.

Es un juego en el que hay un monstruos y personajes que bien pueden servir como inspiración para nosotros. Son muy variados y coloridos, es algo que me encanta la verdad, sobre todo estos nuevos personajes de Rebelion.

Step by step

I usually show the step by step of my art so you can see how I did it, who knows, maybe it will inspire you to learn how to make figures like this too.

Look at the materials I used:** **Plastilin

• Plasticine
• Wire
• Thread
• Paper
• Glue
• Paint

The skeleton or support of this figure is made up of two parts, the inner part, which is completely made of wire, and the outer part, which is made of paper, to give more volume to the body of the character but with less weight.

Paso a paso

Acostumbro a mostrar el paso a paso de mi arte para que vean cómo lo hice, quien sabe, quizás sirva de inspiración para que aprendan también a hacer figuras así.

Vean los materiales que utilicé:

• Plastilina
• Alambre
• Hilo
• Papel
• Pegamento
• Pintura

El esqueleto o soporte de esta figura está formada por dos partes, la interior, que es completamente de alambre; y la exterior, que está hecha de papel, para brindar mayor volumen al cuerpo del personaje pero con menor peso.

So I started to cover the body of the creature with yellow plasticine, mixed with a lot of white, that was the color I decided to use for the character.

I also covered the area of the front and back legs, as well as details such as the ears.

Así pues empecé a cubrir el cuerpo de la criatura con plastilina amarilla, mezclada con mucho blanco, ese fue el color que decidí utilizar para el personaje.

También cubrí el área de las patas traseras y delanteras, además de detalles como las orejas.

With a light and somewhat opaque blue plasticine, I covered the lower part of the abdomen and the chest, if you can call it that. I covered all this area with that plasticine, as well as the tip of the legs, to give that blue gradient appearance that the character has in these areas.

Con una plastilina de color azul, claro y algo opaco, le cubrí la zona inferior del abdomen y el pecho, si es que se le puede llamar así. Toda esta área la cubrí con esa plastilina, al igual que la punta de las patas, para dar esa apariencia de degradado en azul que tiene el personaje en estas áreas.

I also made a lot of lines along the length of this plasticine, trying to tear it to give it a similar appearance to the abundant fur that this Yak has.

También hice un montón de líneas a lo largo de esta plastilina, procurando rasgarla para dar esa apariencia similar a la del pelaje tan abundante que tiene este Yak.

Later I made the antlers, this one is very striking because of its huge size, besides it has fuchsia colored tips. I placed each antler in its place, just behind the ears. I also made the eyes, red like the ones on the letter.

Posteriormente le hice la cornamenta, esta es muy llamativa por su tamaño descomunal, además de que tiene las puntas de color fucsia. Cada cornamenta la coloqué en su lugar, justo detrás de las orejas, De igua manera le hice los ojos, rojos como los de la carta.

On the back of the Yak, in addition to the huge blue plaques on the card, it has numerous colored lines that go to the sides, these I also made by making cuts in a downward direction, starting from the center, as you can see in the image below.

I filled each line with more blue plasticine.

En el lomo del Yak, además de las enormes placas azules que luce en la carta, tiene numerosas líneas de colores que van hacia los laterales, estas también las hice haciendo cortes en dirección hacia abajo, partiendo desde el centro, como ven en la imagen de abajo.

Cada línea la rellené con más plastilina azul.

Finally I started to cover the rest of the back with these triangular plates that the Yak has on its back and on top of its antlers. They are big, so I made them as big as they are on the chart, keeping the proportion of the smaller ones at the ends and the bigger ones in the center.

Finalmente comencé a cubrir el resto del lomo con estas placas triangulares que el Yak tiene en su lomo y encima de su cornamenta. Son grandes, así que las hice igual de grandes a como estan en la carta, manteniendo la proporción de las más pequeñas en los extremos y las más grandes en el centro.

Notice that this is how the Yak was looking up to this point, but with the help of the fine tip of one of my molding tools, I made numerous lines along the body to create that sort of dimilar texture to the Yak's fur.

Fíjense que así iba quedando el Yak hasta este punto, pero con ayuda de la punta fina de una de mis herramientas de moldeado, le hice numerosas líneas a lo largo del cuerpo para crear esa suerte de textura dimilar al pelaje del Yak.

The last thing I did was to add a thin layer of both gold and silver paint in different areas of the body, to highlight the yellowish colors with the gold and the blue and gray colors with the silver.

Ya lo último que hice fue agregar una delgada capa de pintura tanto dorada como plateada en distintas áreas del cuerpo, para resaltar los colores amarillentos con el dorado y los colores azules y grises con el plateado.

This is how my sculpture was finished, here are some pictures of the final result.

De esta manera quedó terminada mi escultura, a continuación les dejo una serie de fotografías del resultado final.
