Another Week Ends, One Less For Our Yearly Targets (Week 21, Year 2022)
This was the last full week of May and it was full of releases for Splinterlands.
I hope those who wanted a license for a node validator during the presale had quick fingers because they ran out in 10 minutes. :) Of course, phase 1 started immediately afterward. I didn't want one (nothing wrong with having one, just not a priority for me), but was pleasantly surprised by the interest people showed in them.
Next week will start the new season which will include the new ranked rewards system, with all the changes that will likely affect the way we play the game, and not only (market prices and rentals should also be affected). I'm eager to it at work.
But since today I'm going through my progress with the Hive goals, let's go on to that part.
HIVE Power and HBD Goals
This week I added around 150 USD worth of liquidity to the pHBD-USDC pool on PolyCub, which I'll keep building up with rewards on PolyCub. While I don't consider it directly to my HBD goal if needed at the end of the year I'll move it to Hive and on savings to help me reach this goal.
I guess two other smaller milestones would be that I reached 30% of my HBD target this year (that's 10% less than where I should be at this time) and over 1600 HBD in savings.
I also powered up 100 more HIVE this week. The lower price of HIVE should've slowly increased the rewards earned in HIVE. Or maybe I just had a better week rewards-wise on posts from the week before which came to payout this week, without any relation to the price of HIVE. I haven't checked to see what happened.
Looks like next week I'll be over 16000 HP. Slow and steady progress for these targets, but the kind that shows results on the long term.
Splintershards (SPS) Staked Goal
I staked 1500 more SPS this week and slowly progressing toward the 100k objective. That's 500 SPS more this week than last week, which is good for this goal.

I only maxed one common card this week, the Fire's Lava Spider. I like the poison that comes at the last level and it was one of the cheaper options to max.
I also added a couple more cards to a few common and rare cards I have, but they are not maxed and I won't name them here yet. The price and/or my immediate plans fit well for those cards.
I kept the rest of the funds, either to be able to buy something more expensive next week or wait for better prices for cheaper cards that I need in bulk (common or rare).
I'm not very in a hurry to max the remaining cards quickly, in two months the airdrop will be over and I'll probably open most if not all the packs I have.

Social Targets
I started the week with 7951 comments and 8196 replies.
And now I am at 8062 comments (passed the 8k limit this week!) and 8330 replies. They are both above my targets of 81 comments and 76 replies weekly to reach 10k of each by the year's end, which is good!
Special Mentions
Today I also hit a very round number on Listnerds, which is awesome: 10000 staked LISTNERDS. And that, even though I haven't officially included Listnerds in my weekly posts about my Hive targets for 2022.
Between 5k and 10k LN, I unstaked 200 LN every thousand LISTNERDS added (20%). But I see other people are starting to catch up (good for them!), so I decided to reduce it back to 10% (100 every thousand). Taking profit is a good practice, right?

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem
I like how you lay this stuff out because I don't pay attention to some of these. I'm finding splinterlands slipping away from me as a bad player.
I am excited about rising star game. It seems like I'm understanding it a little bit more and getting more efficient. I am earning about 4 hive a day. I will be investing that back into the game once I grab my investment back in 2 months. The investment will be in efficiency so I earn more starbits and then to hive

On Rising Star, I keep building my account. Right now, I take 10000 STARBITS out every 110000 STARBITS made (when I buy 12 packs).

I have been grinding for 6 months with no stragegy. I just made millionaire status last week so I get that 10,000 a day. I'm taking that out until I get back my investment. I bought 500,000 and earned 500,000.
I was playing with 20% ego and not doing lessons so I'm going heavy on lessons. I'm not buying packs. Im trying to learn about buying single cards based on when and why I'll need them.
I wasn't aware how to increase my potential starbits per mission and it is just revealing itself to me. I suppose I will blog about. I would love to learn strategies from the OG players.

I had the chance to have great guidance from the start. If you don't, you should follow @cryptofiloz (aka @ph1102) for his expert Rising Star tips (and giveaways). I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you ask questions too. If not for him and @achim003, I wouldn't have joined Rising Star to this day, probably.

thanks. I'm going to follow and go back through their old posts. If you take out the time I've spent inefficiently and only had to buy 500,000 starbits, my ROI is insane.

Hey, @cflclosers... I'm not the smartest guy in the room, but I'm trying to keep to my strategy and until now, it worked well for me... I'm playing a bit longer the game (maybe 1.5 years, or a bit more), but I was without a clue what I'm doing in the first 6-9 months... lol...
Check out this post, maybe it will help you... ;)

Great tips in this video, I watched it when you published it.

Oh wow! Thanks for chiming in. I gave you a follow and am sorting through your content. I appreciate people that aren't the smartest in the room. Well, depending on the room of course lol

Yep! What I really want from these games is to be sustainable for the longer term. Rising Star is doing fine, but not many games on Hive have a solid economy.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It does seem amazing that it has lasted so long and is thriving. I'd like to see more players of course. I also see actifit the same way. Not a game but kind of is with steps. I like how that one is going too.

Hey, @gadrian! Thanks for the mention! I'm not that OG, but if I can help, I will give my best... :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are more OG than I am at RS, so you are the expert in my eyes. ;)

Taking profit is always good, and with Listnerds you can take profit and invest it back and thus it becomes truly passive income.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not truly passive, because you need to be active inside Listnerds to be able to earn, for the most part. But very true, you can take out some rewards and pay for your membership, for example.

It looks like this bear market works better than ever for you... :)
It's hard to believe such a statement, but the results are telling the truth! And I have to agree with you that these times are making a difference... Now it's the time to accumulate and you are doing it right!
Wish you the best!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yep, we need to keep grinding through the bear market, as this usually makes the difference afterward.

I don't know if I should look forward to the new system in Splinterlands or not. It means more playtime and time itself is already a limiting factor for me.
Great job on your goals. We are getting more HP now but less HBD so there is always a trade-off.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think the playtime would be similar for me, except for the EOS when I had my play deck rented out.
I'm ok with this tradeoff.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Fantastic work on your goals! 16K HP is an awesome achievement!!
Great work also on the ListNerds.. 10K!!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks! Not yet 16k HP. :)

Taking profit is a major rule in the game. Goals are looking good, Adrian. Keep crushing it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks, John! Yes, without taking some profit out we risk losing everything and starting afresh.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, taking profit is good. Since the day you hit the 10k mark, 200 LN staking rewards per day is huge, and to unstake 100 every thousand is still conservative.
As for me, I started unstaking 10 LN each day since I hit 1k.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No, I started unstaking since I hit 2k. 100 every thousand until 5k. 200 every thousand until 10k. And now back to 100 every thousand, to speed up my stake a little again.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Back to 10%. That's good.
In my case, I will just keep that 10 LN per day until I reach 2k. Once I upgraded my account, I will see, which one will work for me.
Congratulations @gadrian! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain and have been rewarded with new badge(s):

Congratulation on reaching 10k LN mark on Listnerds.
Do you think, when more of us will intend to sale the LN tokens, we will pull the price down to below 1 hive or less? Now it is 1.893 hive!

@gadrian! You Are Alive so I just staked 0.1 $ALIVE to your account on behalf of @hafiz34. (4/10)
The tip has been paid for by the We Are Alive Tribe through the earnings on @alive.chat, feel free to swing by our daily chat any time you want.
I really don't know, but there will most likely be some selling pressure once the unlocks start to come to term.
Just think that there are people who are relying on that to partially or totally fund their upgrades...
