Cards Staking for Land (Stage 1) - Completed * My Hive Goals (Week 24, 2023)

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only some information, so if you want details, they can be found in the post.

I include a link to the initial goal-setting post for 2023, for reference, if needed.

In a development predicted from last week, I completed the first stage of my goal to assure I have the right cards to stake on land. That means cards to fill in the best 24 plots from my tract (including the Keep), although I have already selected some spares for the next phase too.

My following focus will be split since I don't know the exact date when Land 1.5 will be launched. On one end, the priority is to build up my DEC stash to the next level (another 1m DEC from the first stage, to 2.2m DEC), which would be enough for 44 plots filled in with maxed cards, or for more plots if less than maxed cards are used, which is the case with older cards, in my case.

At the same time, as the DEC stash grows, I'll make sure to select/buy new cards I'll need to fill additional plots.

That means the DEC Saving 2 (Stage 2) and Cards For Staking on Land (Stage 2) goals should progress relatively at the same pace, with DEC Saving going first and Cards for Staking trailing.

Let's see what changed since last week regarding my Hive goals.

HIVE Power (HP) + HBD in Savings Main Goal

I bought more HIVE this week, but not as much as I initially had planned because I decided to keep some HBD too.

My staked HIVE is at 31,089 HP this week. After some indecisiveness this week, I settled on holding the remaining 200 HBD in my savings, while building up my liquid HBD author rewards for a while. You never know when you need some liquidity.

Here's what the evolution of the HP+HBD goal looks like (it doesn't look good right now, but let's remember that when HIVE was 40 cents I was 80% into completing the goal, with less HIVE, and 40 cents HIVE or higher is possible by the year-end):

LEO Staked Main Goal

I staked 301 LEO since last week, with the help of LPUD.

I decided not to pursue my monthly guidelines for the time being. The current ratio between the prices of HIVE and LEO means less delegation rewards and it's much more expensive to buy LEO. For now, I'll just accumulate rewards and see where that leads. The year-end goal may be at risk, but we will see.

Splinterlands Land Expansion Main Focus

Land expansion's main focus extends throughout 2023. Unless I change the strategy, it will be the only main focus / main goal for Splinterlands in 2023. But there will be several 1-3 months goals.

First Land-Related Goal: DEC/DEC-B Saved - Completed

This goal is COMPLETED.

Deadline (passed): When DEC-B offer runs out, either because all were sold out or because the time limit was reached (April 9th).

Target to consider the goal completed: 1.5 mil. DEC-B saved. Done!

DEC Saved 2 Goal - Stage 1 Completed

Target to consider the goal completed:

• stage 1: 1.2m DEC (COMPLETED)
• stage 2: 2.2 DEC (1m additional DEC)

Current situation: 1.2m DEC (liquid) and 28k DEC x 2 = 56k DEC in SWAP.HIVE:DEC diesel pool.

New Land-Related Goal: Cards for Staking on Land Stage 1 Completed

• stage 1: need 120 cards for land by the deadline (decreased from 220) COMPLETED

• stage 1.5: need 220 cards for land by the deadline
• stage 2: have 500 cards for land
  • stretch goal: have optimized cards for 44 plots

(*) any card with at least 1000 PP suitable for the terrain types I own will do (better for better plots); doesn't have to be maxed

Comments Made

Original goal: 18k, REDUCED to 17k, by the end of 2023.

I started this week with a total of 14178 comments made.

Ended the week with 14331 comments made, which brings the number of my comments this week to 153. Looking great... thanks to Threads too!

I now need an average of 96 comments weekly to reach the goal of 17k.

Weekly Buy - ALIVE

After withdrawing by mistake my ALIVE delegation from @aliveandthriving some time ago, today I re-delegated plus added the needed amount up to 1000 ALIVE. I read somewhere about this threshold and what it would mean and at the time I thought it was a good idea to boost my ALIVE tokens to 1000. But I can't remember why, lol. Anyone wants to help? I bought the tokens anyway.
