RE: Life After HIVE

I swapped out a fuck load of alts into more stable options a while back and even took a significant sum into fiat which has gained well since going into various investments. I'm pretty happy with it considering the crypto that generated those funds were earned by me blogging on Hive. I left some in for a bit of fun, 134,000 Hive or so, but happily swapped out a *small amount of effort for a hefty sum of real-world money that has been working pretty damned hard for me.

As for Hive itself...most things come to an end eventually...I see fuck all of value on there these days, same old shite, and I expect it'll disappear at some point. Life will go on.

Those sound like some really smart moves on your part. I wish I had done a bit more of that when the price was higher, but I played things pretty wrong unfortunately.

I wanted to guarantee a return on investment (Hive) and I certainly got it. I was a bit nervous thinking things could lift dramatically in the future, but they dropped and so I was very fortunate to see a huge gain.

I know people talk about "never selling" or waiting long term...at my age long term is less than with others so I figured a solid six figure number in my hand was baert than waiting. I still have a pile though, so when it goes up more will disappear into BTC or fiat.

I totally agree with that. I have always been one of those holdouts, then I realized a bit too late "why?". I can still grow my stake and take some profit. I've invested a lot of time in this chain. I should take some kind of return beyond the intrinsic benefits.

I don't see why not. I know others who have held and continue to do so, and will receive almost nothing should the price tank further (and not recover) and I don't see the point. I have a couple hundred thousand Hive still so if it goes up I'll go ok...and if it goes up I'll fuck some more off and get some real money.

One must know when to hold...no when to fold. Kenny Rogers said so.

Kenny was a wise man. Such a good song. It's perfect for karaoke too! I've got some HIVE I have been keeping liquid waiting for a big price move. I have a set amount I will keep and then anything over that I move outside of HIVE every now and then. A spike up to $.07 would be nice right about now...

I remember when it was $3 and more. That'll not happen again. (I made a fuck ton back then by selling and renting low.) Ah yes, the good old days.

No, I don't think it will. Even $.50 is probably pushing it. Sadly, back when it was $3 my stack was so small and all locked up as HIVE Power. I was never really positioned well when it mattered, so they are just the old days for me! :)
