Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Aimless (ENG/ITA)

Hello, dear Splinterlands friends!!!

In addition to all the news brought by the new edition of cards Rebellion, there are also significant changes in the Lands mechanics: I am still trying to understand how to best use my lands, which buildings to construct, and how to manage the 3 available resources effectively. Above all, I'm figuring out the relationship between them to produce Grain and Sps.

Indeed, to Harvest Sps, a payment in Grain is required. It's obvious that a substantial stock of the latter is always necessary.

But now, let's get back to our beautiful cards with the Battle Mage Secrets Challenge for this week!!!

Aimless: all monsters on the field have the Scattershot ability, meaning all attacks are completely random and can hit anyone on the opposing team, even cards with the Camouflage ability. Perhaps the ability that pairs well with this ruleset is Blast, increasing the chances of hitting 3 opposing cards in one shot.

And these are the game rules:

A very low mana cap of 17, and in addition to Aimless, we also have Rise of the Commons and Aim True. This makes it a challenge for low-cost mana monsters, aiming to fill all team positions effectively without sacrificing too much quality.

And here is the battlefield:

I chose an old summoner from the Alpha edition, always handy in low mana challenges, Zintar Mortalis, which, at a cost of only 3 mana, provides a significant debuff of -1 to opponents. In the Tank position, I placed a level 4 Haunted Spirit, followed by Undead Priest, Furious Chicken, Haunted Spider, and Ravenhood Warden.

On the other hand, my opponent chose Camila Sungazer as a summoner and placed a mana-costly card in the tank position, Shieldbearer, costing 8 mana, followed by Armorsmith and Venari Crystalsmith.

This time, I managed to achieve victory because the ruleset favored the cards in my collection, while my opponent's team was unbalanced. His "heavy" Shield Bearer, whose Taunt ability was useless in a challenge with the Aimless ruleset, took up space in the team that could have been occupied by other, perhaps less costly, cards that could have dealt more damage on the battlefield by combining their attacks and abilities.

Otre a tutte le novità portate dalla nuova edizione di carte Rebellion, si prospettano anche grandi cambiamenti per quello che riguarda i meccanismi delle Lands: io, ancora, sto cercando di comprendere bene come sfruttare al meglio i miei terreni, quale edifici costruire, e come gestire al meglio le 3 risorse disponibili, ma soprattutto, in quale rapporto tra di loro, produrre Grain e Sps.

Infatti, per poter fare l'Harvest di Sps, è richiesto un pagamento in Grain, e d è quindi ovvio che ci vuole sempre una ampia scorta di quest'ultimo.

Ma comunque, torniamo alle nostre bellissime carte , con il Battle Mage Secrets Challenge di questa settimana !!!

Aimless: tutti i mostri in campo hanno l'abilità Scattershot, quindi tutti gli attacchi sono completamente random, e possono colpire chiunque della squadra avversaria, anche le carte con l'abilità Camouflage.
Forse l'abilità che va meglio insieme a questo ruleset è Blast, con cui si ha più possibilità di colpire 3 carte avversarie nello stesso colpo.

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

Un mana cap molto basso di 17, ed oltre a Aimless, abbiamo anche Rise of the Commons e Aim True, quindi questa è una sfida per mostri dal basso costo di mana, cercando di riempire bene tutti i posti in squadra, senza perdere troppa qualità.

Io ho scelto un vecchio evocatore dell'edizione Alpha, ma che fa sempre comodo in questo tipo di sfide a basso mana, Zintar Mortalis, che al costo di soli 3 mana fornisce un pesante debuff agli avversari di -1; in posizione Tank ho messo un Haunted Spirit al livello 4, seguito da Undead Priest, Furious Chicken, Haunted Spider e Ravenhood Warden.

Il mio avversario, invece, ha scelto Camila Sungazer come evocatore , e , in posizione tank ha messo un carta molto cosotosa in termini di mana; Shieldbearer, dal costo di 8 mana, seguito da Armorsmith e Venari Crystalsmith.

Questa volta sono riuscito a raggiungere la vittoria, perchè i ruleset favorivano molto le carte della mia collezione, mentre la squadra del mio avversario era molto squilibrata: il suo "pesantissimo" Shield Bearer, la cui abilità Taunt era inutile in una sfida con il ruleset Aimless, ha rubato qualche spazio in squadra ad altre carte, che magari costavano meno, ma sommando i propri attacchi e abilità potevano fare molto più danno sul campo di battaglia.
