Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Born Again (ENG/ITA)

Hello to all Splinterlands friends!!!

It's undeniable that older cards, compared to the new Rebellion edition, hold a special place in every player's heart. They have been companions through countless challenges and triumphs, creating an unbreakable bond with our journey in Splinterlands. But, like any great adventure, the game evolves and renews itself, bringing new elements, challenges, and, most importantly, cards. Initially hesitant to let go of the old favorites, I found myself engrossed in the discovery of Rebellion, a card collection that brought freshness and innovation to our beloved Splinterlands world.

How wonderful it would be to resurrect your cards during battles, and that's exactly what we'll see in this week's Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!!!

Born Again: all monsters on the battlefield have the Rebirth ability, meaning, once killed, they come back to life with only 1 health point.
So it's obvious that it's advantageous to deploy monsters with good stats in Armor, or those with abilities like Divine Shield.

And these are the game rules:

A medium Mana Cap of 37 points, and in addition to Born Again, we have Keep your Distance and Tis but Scratches, meaning no melee monsters can be used, and all will have the Cripple ability, so look for cards with a high Health number, and possibly Armor.

And here is the battlefield:

I brought one of my favorite Death element teams, based on magical attacks, onto the field: Thaddius Brood as the summoner, Djinn Muirat in the first position with very high stats, and in the second position, Usut, also well-placed in Armor and Health. Following them are Revealer, Spirit Hoarder, Venari Bonesmith, and finally Undead Priest.

My opponent also chose a Death group, but with a less common configuration, although I've seen something similar: Owster Rotwell as the summoner, providing the powerful Magic Reflect ability, which will help his tank card, Prismatic Energy, and also the other cards, namely Shadowy Presence, Phantom Soldier, Barashkukor, and finally Venari Spellsmith.

My team wasn't bad; it had good numbers to compete, but my opponent made two choices that clearly gave him an advantage: first, his summoner, Owster Rotwell, giving Magic Reflect in a battle entirely based on magical attacks, completely changed the course of the game. Second, deploying the new monster from the Rebellion edition, Barashkukor, with its 5 heavy attack points, is truly devastating.

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands !!!

È innegabile che le carte più vecchie, rispetto alla nuova edizione Rebellion, abbiano un posto speciale nel cuore di ogni giocatore. Sono state le compagne di innumerevoli sfide e trionfi, creando un legame indissolubile con il nostro percorso su Splinterlands. Ma, come ogni grande avventura, il gioco evolve e si rinnova, portando con sé nuovi elementi, sfide e, soprattutto, carte. Inizialmente un po' restio all'idea di abbandonare le vecchie fedi, mi sono ritrovato coinvolto nella scoperta di Rebellion, una collezione di carte che ha portato freschezza e innovazione al nostro amato mondo di Splinterlands.

Che bello sarebbe poter resuscitare le proprie carte durante le battaglie, ed è proprio quello che vedremo, nel Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge di questa settimana !!!

Born Again: tutti i mostri sul campo di battaglia hanno l'abilità Rebirth, ovvero, una volta uccisi, tornano in vita con 1 solo punto di vita.
Quindi è ovvio che conviene schierare, se possibile, mostri con buoni stats in Armor, o che abbiano abilità come Divine Shield.

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

Un Mana Cap che possiamo definire medio, di 37 punti, e, oltre a Born Again, abbiamo Keep your Distance e Tis but Scratches, quindi non si possono usare mostri melee, e tutti avranno l'abilità Cripple, quindi bisogna cercare carte con un alto numero di Health,e , possibilmente di Armor.

Ed ecco il campo di battaglia:

Io ho portato in campo una delle mie squadre ,basate su attacco magico, preferite dell'elemento Death: ovvero Thaddius Brood come evocatore, in prima posizione Djinn Muirat, mostro con stats molto alte, e in seconda posizione Usut, anche lui ben piazzato in Armor e Health, e poi a seguire Revealer, Spirit Hoarder, Venari Bonesmith e infine Undead Priest.

Anche il mio avversario ha scelto il gruppo Death, ma con una configurazione più rara da incontrare, anche se ho già visto qualcosa di simile: Owster Rotwell, come evocatore, dona la fortissima abilità Magic Reflect, che aiuterà la sua carta in posizione Tank, Prismatic Energy, e anche le altre carte, ovvero Shadowy Presence, Phantom Soldier, Barashkukor e infine Venari Spellsmith.

La mia squadra non era male, aveva buoni numeri per giocarsela, ma il mio avversario ha fatto due scelte che lo hanno portato nettamente in vantaggio: prima di tutto il suo evocatore, Owster Rotwell, dando Magic Reflect in una battaglia completamente basata sugli attacchi magici, ha completamente cambiato le sorti della partita, ed in s***econdo luogo, l'aver schierato il nuovo mostro , dell'edizione ***Rebellion, Barashkukor, che con i suoi 5 pesantissimi punti di attacco è veramente devastante.
