Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Rebellion is finally here !!! (ENG/ITA)

Hello, dear Splinterlands gaming friends!

Finally, the long-awaited day has come, and on December 5th, just a few days ago, we were able to open our packs from the new card edition, Rebellion. We can perhaps define it as the most revolutionary edition so far on the Splinterlands platform.

Some of the new summoners will not only be able to bestow abilities upon their monsters, but we, the players, will be able to choose from various options after seeing the battlefield. This grants us the tremendous privilege of previewing the opponent's lineup, providing all the elements needed to choose which buffs and debuffs to apply and to which cards.

And here is the new screen we face before the battle begins. A timer starts, and we are asked to choose between two abilities and which monsters to apply them to. In this case, I chose the new summoner, Rebellion, of the Earth element, named Underboss Fabino. This summoner gives me the option to choose between applying +2 melee attack to two of my monsters or applying the Poison debuff to one of the opponent's cards after seeing the complete lineup of the opposing team.

Simply click on the chosen monsters to apply the abilities, then click on Battle to start the challenge, all while respecting the time dictated by the timer. I must admit that I am still getting used to this new screen and gameplay type; I still find it challenging to choose the right options to secure victory.

In the image above, you can see the summoners I found by opening just over thirty Rebellion packs. I am very happy so far because among the Unit cards, I found two legendaries, many epic and rare cards, and a couple of golden cards.

The new summoners are undoubtedly revolutionary, starting from the cards that cost only three mana, offering the chance to summon monsters belonging to two different splinters. For example, Dolfar Darflak can deploy cards from both the Death and Fire elements, which happen to be my two favorite elements.

Then we have the summoners that cost 5 Mana, giving players the option to choose between two abilities, just as I showed you earlier in this post. For instance, Avina of the Wolf ,from the Life element, allows you to apply +2 Speed to two of your cards or the Heal ability to one monster.

I must say that these new features are incredibly interesting and will undoubtedly change the gameplay from now on. However, I also think that the old summoners remain extremely powerful and can still make their mark on the battlefield.

Finalmente il giorno tanto atteso è arrivato, e il 5 Dicembre, pochi giorni fa, abbiamo potuto aprire i nostri pacchetti della nuova edizione di carte Rebellion, che forse possiamo definire l'edizione più rivoluzionaria , fino ad adesso, sulla piattaforma di Splinterlands.
Alcuni dei nuovi evocatori, infatti, non saranno in grado solamente di donare abilità ai propri mostri, ma saremo noi, i giocatori, a scegliere tra diverse opzioni, dopo aver visto il campo di battaglia, e quindi avendo il grandissimo privilegio di vedere in anteprima lo schieramento avversario, e questo ci fornirà tutti gli elementi necessari per scegliere quali buffs e debuffs applicare, e a quali carte.

Ed ecco la nuova schermata che ci troviamo davanti prima dell'inizio della battaglia, vedete che parte un timer e ci viene richiesto di scegliere tra due abilità e a quali mostri applicarli. In questo caso ho scelto il nuovo evocatore Rebellion, dell'elemento Earth, di nome Underboss Fabino, che mi dà la possibilità di scegliere tra applicare 1+2 ti attacco melee a due dei miei mostri oppure ad applicare il debuff Poison a una delle carte avversarie, dopo aver visto lo schieramento completo della squadra opposta.

Basta cliccare sui mostri scelti per applicare le abilità e poi bisogna cliccare su Battle per far partire la sfida il, il tutto rispettando il tempo che viene scandito dal timer. Devo ammettere che ancora mi devo abituare a questo nuovo tipo di schermata e tipologia di gameplay, ho ancora difficoltà a scegliere le giuste opzioni per arrivare alla vittoria.

Nell'immagine che vedete qui sopra potete osservare gli evocatori che ho trovato aprendo poco più di una trentina di pacchetti Rebellion, e posso dire di essere molto felice ,fino ad adesso, perché tra le carte Units ho trovato due leggendarie, e molte carte epiche e rare, oltre a un paio di carte d'oro.

I nuovi evocatori sono senza dubbio rivoluzionari, a partire dalle carte che costano solo tre mana il danno la possibilità di evocare mostri appartenenti a due splinters diversi, per esempio Dolfar Darflak, che può schierare carte sia dell'elemento Death che dell'elemento Fire, che sono infatti i due elementi che io preferisco.

E poi abbiamo gli evocatori che costano 5 Mana, che danno al giocatore la possibilità di scegliere tra due opzioni, esattamente come vi hi fatto vedere prima in questo post.
Per esempio, Avina of the Wolf, dell'elemento Life, ti da la possibilità di applicare un +2 in Speed a due delle tue carte, oppure l'abilità Heal ad un mostro.

Devo dire che queste novità sono interessantissime e cambieranno sicuramente il gameplay a partire da adesso, però penso anche che i vecchi evocatori rimangano comunque fortissimi e possono dire ancora la loro sul campo di battaglia.
