Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Rebellion Sneak Peeks (ENG/ITA)

Welcome dear Splinterlands players!

All of us who have purchased packs from the new Rebellion edition need to mark an important date, just a few days away: I'm talking about December 5th, the day when, finally, we can open our pre-sale packs and see what new cards fortune has reserved for us.

On that same date, in the Modern game format, the Untamed edition will be replaced with the new one, Rebellion. So, the Modern format will be of interest to those new players who may have recently joined and have specialized their card deck in the Chaos Legion edition and the new Rebellion. It's a format where the use of bots is not allowed, allowing players to only compete against "human" opponents.

Starting from December 5th, the Rebellion General Sale will begin, with a total of 9.5 million packs available. It will be interesting to see how this will affect the price per pack, not only on the official website but also on other decentralized exchanges like Hive-Engine.

But in these days, the Splinterlands staff is delighting us with Sneak Peeks, previews of the new cards that immediately show various changes compared to previous editions.

What immediately stands out is the graphic design of the new cards: the outer border is much thinner, maximizing space for detailed illustrations with vibrant colors, creating a strong contrast between the character and the background.

From a gameplay perspective, we see cards with some of the new abilities. For example, Infernal Firestorm, a Fire-element monster with hefty stats, has the Flank ability from level 1, giving the companion in the second position the Reach ability.

We also have Anasth Soothsayer, a Water-element card, which at level 4 enhancement gains Lookout. This allows adjacent teammates to this card to reduce enemy attacks brought by the Sneak, Ranged, and Opportunity abilities by -1.

But the real revolutionary change on the horizon, which will make the player more involved in the battlefield, undoubtedly concerns the new summoners. We can already see this in these Sneak Peeks: Zeddica, a summoner costing only 3 mana, allows summoning monsters of two different elements, Water and Death (provided they are active in the ruleset), plus the Neutral ones. This allows for a much more varied team compared to the past.

And then we have Prophet Rosa, a Water-group summoner costing 5 mana, which allows us, after seeing the two lineups on the battlefield, to choose between two options: either give +2 ranged attack to 2 of our monsters or give a monster in the team the Shield ability.

This will make the gameplay much more interactive, and with the upcoming changes with the Lands, it's best to stay tuned to keep up with all the innovations.

Tutti noi che abbiamo comprato pacchetti della nuova edizione Rebellion, ci dobbiamo segnare una data importante, che avverrà tra pochi giorni: sto parlando del 5 Dicembre, giorno in cui , finalmente, potremo aprire i nostri pacchetti finora acquistati nella Pre-sale, e vedere quali delle nuove carte ci ha riservato la fortuna.

Inoltre, in quella stessa data, nel formato di gioco Modern, l'edizione Untamed verrà sostituita con quella nuova, la Rebellion: quindi il format Modern potrà interessare tutti quei nuovi giocatori, che magari entrano o sono entrati da poco tempo, e hanno specializzato il loro mazzo di carte sull'edizione Chaos Legion e la nuova, la Rebellion, oltre ad essere un formato in cui non è concesso l'uso dei Bot, e in cui, quindi, ci si può confrontare solo tra giocatori "umani".

E sempre dal 5 Dicembre, partirà la General Sale di Rebellion, con un totale di 9.5M pacchetti a disposizione : sarà interessante vedere come questo influirà sul prezzo a singolo pacchetto, non solo sul sito ufficiale, ma anche se altri DEX come Hive-Engine.

Ma in questi giorni lo staff di Splinterlands ci sta deliziando con delle Sneak Peeks, delle preview sulle nuove carte che ci mostrano subito vari cambiamenti rispetto alle edizioni precedenti.

Quello che colpisce ,ad un primo impatto, è la veste grafica delle nuove carte: il bordo esterno è molto più sottile, lasciando il massimo dello spazio alle illustrazioni, che sono molto curate nei dettagli ed hanno dei colori molto sgargianti, creando un forte contrasto tra il personaggio e lo sfondo.

Dal punto di vista del gameplay, vediamo carte che possiedono alcune delle nuove abilità: per esempio, Infernal Firestorm, mostro dell'elemento Fuoco con stats belle pesanti, ha, fin dal livelo 1, l'abilità Flank, che fa ottnere al compagno in seconda posizone l'abilità Reach.

Abbiamo anche Anasth Soothsayer, dell'elemento Acqua, che al livello 4 di potenziamento ottiene Lookout, che consente ai compagni di squadra adiacenti a questa carta, di portare a -1 gli attacchi nemici portati con le abilità Sneak, Ranged, e Opportunity.

Ma quello che si prospetta il vero cambiamento rivoluzionario, che renderà il giocatore sempre più partecipe al campo di battaglia, riguarda senza dubbio i nuovi evocatori, e lo possiamo vedere già in queste Sneak Peeks: Zeddica, evocatore dal costo di soli 3 mana, consente di evocare mostri di due diversi elementi, Acqua e Morte (sempre che siano attivi nel ruleset), più , ovviamente quelli Neutrali, quindi si può schierare una squadra molto più variegata rispetto al passato.

E poi abbiamo Prophet Rosa, evocatore del gruppo Acqua, dal costo di 5 mana, che ci consente, dopo aver visto i due schieramenti sul campo di battaglia, di scegliere tra due opzioni: donare +2 in attacco ranged a 2 dei nostri mostri, oppure dotare un mostro della squadra con l'abilità Shield.

Questo renderà il gameplay molto più interattivo, e con le novità che stanno per uscire con le Lands, è meglio stare sintonizzati per stare al passo con tutte le novità.
