Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Rebellion Water Low Mana Cards (ENG/ITA)

Good evening, fellow Splinterlands players!!!

When I started playing Splinterlands, one of my go-to summoners in the Water element was undoubtedly Alric Stormbringer. With his +1 magic attack buff, he provided an excellent opportunity to build a strong magic-based team. However, with the Chaos Legion edition, his role was significantly diminished by the summoner Obsidian. At that point, I had lost some interest in the Water element, which was reignited with the introduction of the summoner Possibilus the Wise.

Now, the Rebellion edition provides us with new cards and strategies to make the most of the Water group. In this post, I want to analyze with you 5 cards, costing 4 mana or less, that can help us win some matches.

Chaos Rear Guard: This orange orc, more wide than tall, is protected by imposing armor and wields a thick, heavy sword. In terms of stats, for the cost of 4 mana, what it offers at the first level isn't much, with 4 Health, 1 Armor, Melee, and Speed. Its great strength lies in the Shield ability, which reduces Melee and Ranged attacks it receives by 50%. It doesn't receive any additional abilities in upgrades, with the only positive being reaching 9 Health at level 9. This card won't be my first choice, to say the least...

Mar Toren Seeker: This male Triton (the male counterpart of the Siren) flaunts the biceps of his right arm while holding a trident in his left. From level 1, it offers two excellent abilities, Snipe and Dodge, and 3 Health, 3 Speed, and 2 Ranged. It stands out as one of the top choices among Ranged cards for Water in Little League matches. At level 5, it gains the Phase ability, increasing its chance to dodge magic attacks. At level 10, it reaches 9 Health, though its attack remains at 2. A much more interesting card than the previous one, usable in certain contexts.

Pirate of Eight: I don't know why, but the illustration of this sword-wielding girl reminds me a bit of the One Piece animated series, which is about a pirate crew. I've previously called this card one of the best Rebellion cards under 4 mana. At level 1, it is equipped with two strong abilities, Reach and Blast, making its attack explosive even from the second position in the team. At level 8, it achieves impressive stats, with 4 melee attack, 4 Speed, and 6 Health, making it a top choice in Little League rule set matches.

Argarux Magus: The illustration of this card reminds me of the 1954 film "Creature from the Black Lagoon," especially the appearance of this green sea creature, even though the original film was in black and white. For the cost of only 3 mana, this card is decent, with the Scattershot ability, 1 Magic, and 2 Speed and Health at level 1. At level 4, it gains the Bloodlust ability, and finally, at level 8, it reaches 2 points of magic attack. With summoners like Alric Stormbringer providing +1 Magic, it becomes very strong for the cost of 3 mana.

Daigendark Surveyor: Here's another monster that seems to have come out of Santa Claus's small workshop. This elf, with an angry expression, is carefully checking the clock, perhaps because it's behind on gift delivery. This is a card that lacks attacks, but for the cost of 2 mana, it provides the Reflect ability and 5 Health and 2 Speed. At level 5, it also gains the Slow ability, and at level 10, the Stun ability, along with 9 Health. This card could serve as a "filler" in matches with high Mana Cap, maybe in the last position, if the team has 2 mana points to spare.

Quando ho iniziato a giocare a Splinterlands, uno dei miei evocatori che usavo di più nell'elemento Acqua era , senza dubbio, Alric Stormbringer che con il suo buff di +1 in attacco magico, offriva un'ottima occasione per costruire una fortissima squadra a base di magia, però, possiamo dire, che con l'edizione Chaos Legion, il suo ruolo è stato molto ridimensionato dall'evocatore Obsidian.
A quel punto ,avevo perso un po' di interesse nell'elemento Acqua, che poi è ritornata con l'introduzione dell'evocatore Possibilus the Wise.

Adesso l'edizione Rebellion ci fornisce nuove carte e strategie per poter usare al meglio il gruppo Acqua: in questo post volevo analizzare con voi, 5 carte ,dal costo di 4 mana o meno, che ci possono aiutare a vincere qualche partita.

Chaos Rear Guard: questo Orco arancione, più largo che lungo, è protetto da un'armatura imponente e brandisce una spada spessa e pesante.
Dal punto di vista delle stats, per il costo di 4 mana , quello che offre al primo livello non è moltissimo, con 4 di Health, 1 di Armor, Melee e Spees, il suo grande punto di forza è l'abilità Shield , che riduce del 50% gli attacchi Melee e Ranged che subisce.

Nei potenziamenti non riceve nessuna abilità aggiuntiva, l'unica cosa positiva è che al livello 9 raggiunge i 9 punti di Health.

Diciamo che questa carta sicuramente non sarà la mia prima scelta....

Mar Toren Seeker: questo Tritone (corrispettivo maschile della Sirena), sfoggia il bicipite del braccio destro, mentre con il sinistro tiene in mano il tridente.
Già dal livello 1 ci offre due belle abilità, Snipe e Dodge, e 3 di Health, 3 di Speed e 2 di Ranged, si propone come una delle prime scelte, tra le carte Ranged, in caso di Little League con l'elemento Acqua.

Al livello 5 ottiene anche l'abilità Phase, aumentando la sua possibilità di evitare gli attacchi magici, al livello 10 arriva a 9 di health, ma il suo attacco rimane a 2.

Carta molto più interessante della precedente, è utilizzabile in alcuni contesti.

Pirate of Eight : non so perchè ma l'illustrazione di questa ragazza con la spada mi ricorda un pochino la serie animata One Piece, che parla appunto di una ciurma di pirati.
Ho già definito questa carta, in passato, una delle migliori carte Rebellion, con il costo sotto i 4 mana, infatti, già al livello 1, è equipaggiata con due fortissime abilità, Reach e Blast, che rendono il suo attacco esplosivo anche dalla seconda posizione in squadra.
Al livello 8 raggiunge stats impressionante, anche se non ottiene altre abilità: 4 di attacco melee e di Speed, e 6 punti Health, la rendono una prima scelta nelle sfide con Little League come ruleset.

Argarux Magus: l'illustrazione di questa carta mi ricorda il film "Il mostro della Laguna Nera", del 1954, soprattutto per le sembianze di questa creatura marina verde, anche se il film originale era in bianco e nero.

Per il costo di soli 3 mana , questa carta non è male: l'abilità Scattershot, 1 di Magia, e 2 di Speed e Health, a partire dal livello 1.
Al livello 4 ottiene l'abilità Bloodlust, e finalmente, al livello 8, arriva a 2 punti di attacco magico.

Con evocatori come Alric Stormbringer si prende +1 in Magia, che lo rende molto forte per il costo di 3 mana.

Daigendark Surveyor: ecco un altro mostro che è uscito dalla piccola bottega dei regali di Babbo Natale, questo elfo ,dall'espressione arrabbiata, sta guardando con attenzione l'orologio, forse perchè è indietro sulla tempistica di consegne dei regali.

Questa è una carta che non ha attacchi, però, per il costo di 2 mana, ci fornisce l'abilità Reflect, e 5 punti Health e 2 di Speed.
Al livello 5 ottiene anche l'abilità Slow, e al livello 10 l'abilità Stun, oltre che 9 punti Health.

Questa carta potrebbe fare da "tappabuchi" anche in partite con alti Mana Cap, magari in ultima posizione, se avanzano 2 punti mana alla squadra.

Sono sicuro che userò queste, e molte altre nuove carte Rebellion, nelle mie sfide future su Splinterlands !!!
