Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Tips for Beginners (ENG/ITA)

Good evening, dear Splinterlands players!!!

The theme of this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge is to write a post with lots of tips for newcomers to this platform, which represents one of the most famous and enduring blockchain games. When I started in 2018 with the Alpha edition, it was simply a card game, where the main focus was on collecting cards and building a strong deck to win battles.

Over the years, the game has evolved even more, and now there are many aspects and mechanisms to study. Yes, I said study because you need to spend time understanding how various aspects of Splinterlands work; otherwise, you might make silly mistakes.

Even I, who have been on this platform for 6 years now, am studying all the new rules of the Lands, which have just reached phase 1.5. In summary, Lands give players/investors the opportunity to produce, for now, 3 types of resources: Grain, Sps, and Research, using their monsters as "farmers."

However, I advise beginners not to focus on Lands and instead suggest understanding which cards to buy to build a deck that can secure initial victories, perhaps in the Bronze or Silver league.

Certainly, a good starting point is to participate in the new Rebellion card edition by buying and opening some packs. At the beginning of each new edition, the card costs are relatively low because players are not familiar with the potential of the new cards.

In the Alpha edition, I bought some cards for a few dollars that are now worth hundreds because they are highly sought after.

And then, I would suggest buying some packs from the Chaos Legion edition and checking the market to get the essential cards from this edition. With Rebellion and Chaos Legion cards, you can participate in the Modern game format, where entry for bots and bot farms is prohibited. It's a smart move for beginners who want to challenge only real players.

After clicking on "battle!" in the top left bar on the website, you will enter the battles page, where you can choose between two formats, Modern and Wild. However, at the bottom of the page, there are various categories, including "Battle Log," "Top Battles," "Leaderboard," and "Last Season." I recommend that beginners go to Top Battles and choose Bronze and Silver leagues to get an idea of the winning teams in the lower leagues and guide their purchases based on the battles of the top players in those categories.

With patience and perseverance, after building a competitive deck, you will start enjoying yourself on this platform and finally celebrate your first victories!!!

Il tema del Splinterlands Social Media Challenge di questa settimana è quello di scrivere un post con tanti consigli per i nuovi arrivati in questa piattaforma, che rappresenta uno dei giochi più famosi e longevi su Blockchain: quando ho iniziato io, nel 2018, con l'edizione Alpha, era semplicemente un gioco di carte, dove l'aspetto principale era nel collezionare le carte, e crearsi un bel mazzo per poter vincere le battaglia.

Negli anni, il gioco si è evoluto sempre di più, ed ora ci sono tantissimi aspetti e meccanismi da studiare: sì, ho detto studiare, perchè dovete passare del tempo a capire come funzionano i vari aspetti su Splinterlands, se no rischiate di fare errori stupidi.

Anch'io, che sono su questa piattaforma da 6 anni ormai, sto studiando tutte le nuove regole delle Lands, che hanno appena raggiunto la fase 1.5: riassumendo, le Lands danno la possibilità ai giocatori/investitori di produrre, per adesso, 3 tipi di risorse , Grain, Sps e Research, usando i propri mostri come "contadini".

Però , ad un principiante, sconsiglio di focalizzarsi sulle Lands, e suggerisco, invece, di capire quale carte comprare, per costruirsi un mazzo che può consentire di ottenere le prime vittorie, magari in lega Bronze o Silver.

Sicuramente, un buon punto di inizio è partecipare alla nuova edizione di carte Rebellion, comprando e aprendo qualche pacchetto: all'inizio di ogni nuova edizione, il costo delle carte è abbastanza basso perchè i giocatori non conoscono bene le potenzialità delle nuove carte.

Anch'io, nell'edizione Alpha, comprai delle carte per pochi dollari che ora ne valgono centinaia e centinaia perchè sono molto ricercate

E poi, direi di comprare anche qualche pacchetto dell'edizione Chaos Legion, e vedere di andare sul mercato per prendersi le carte essenziali di questa edizione: con le carte Rebellion e Chaos Legion, si può partecipare al formato di gioco Modern, a cui è vietato l'ingresso si Bot e alle Bot farm, quindi una prima mossa intelligente per il principiante che vuole sfidare solamente giocatori in carne ed ossa.

Nel sito, dopo aver cliccato su "battle!" nelle barra in alto a sinistra, entrerete nella pagine delle battaglie, tra cui potete scegliere due formati, Modern e Wild, però, nella parte inferiore della pagine, ci sono varie categorie tra cui "Battle Log", "Top Battles", "Leaderboard" e "Last Season": io consiglio, ai principianti, di andare su Top Battles e scegliere le leghe Bronze e Silver, per farsi un'idea di quali sono le squadre vincenti delle leghe più basse, ed orientare i propri acquisti sulle battaglie dei giocatori Top delle rispettive categorie.

Con calma e pazienza ,dopo aver costruito un primo mazzo di carte competitive, arriverete a divertirvi su questa piattafroma, godendovi, finalmente, le prime vittorie!!!
