Out of Bandages
There is obviously no general healthcare in Splinterlands and no retirement plan at all. Unless you consider being resurrected and having to fight once again as one. However, there are healing summoners or even monsters that could prolong a monster's agony, oh, I mean lifetime, making it a bit fitter and fightable longer. And once in a while, those abilities are restricted, so you cannot rely on certain monsters, like in the case of this battle.

I usually play the Life Splinter, but since that faction relies on healing, I had to opt out for my second favorite one – the Water Splinter. As it was a mid-mana cap battle, I chose Kelya Frendul, whose buffs are rather powerful for four mana points. I particularly relied on his speed buff as I drafted fast monsters and depended on speed and agility rather than brute force. Kelya also granted every monster a +1 armor buff after it resurrects. I hoped my opponent wouldn't go with magic strikers, in which case my strategy would be futile.
Since it was an Equalized battle, I picked a very unconventional tank that should block as much damage as he can, get resurrected, and withstand two more attacks until it dies permanently. Yes, I am talking about Torrent Fiend, who served well and even survived the first round. A great effort from a free card!
Even my second monster had no purpose than to block as many attacks as possible and die twice. In the case of Venari Marksrat, though, it was also about buffing the next card.
The Phantom of the Abyss turns into a killing machine when it gets all the Martyr and summoner buffs. It ended up with astonishing stats: 5 magic damage and 9 speed points while having Flying and Dodge abilities. Plus, it demoralized the opponent's pack, which relied exclusively on melee attackers.
Runemancer Kye drained the life of my opponent's monsters successfully, ignoring their armor. It is generally a powerful monster that fits this ruleset great.
Ice Pixie is one of the best cards when it comes to cost/value ratio. For only two mana points, you get a fast Flying magic striker with its armor. I usually play it to protect my rear from sneaking monsters, like this time. In this particular game, the Pixie had 8 HP, so it could last almost the entire battle.

The Battle
Hats off to my opponent who drafted an extremely lethal and reasonably fast pack. Especially Isgald Vorst would be hard to defeat with anything other than a magic set. I believe their set could wipe out almost anybody, except for my magic-based pack with high evasive abilities. There is no mistake they made that I could mention here. They just ran into somebody who, with a bit of luck, picked even better cards and placed them in a way that provided the highest possible synergy.
Even though the two armies consisted of powerful cards, the battle itself was not even remotely evenly matched. My magic strikers could penetrate my opponent's defense as if there hadn't been any at all. My two damage dealers survived intact, both having extra HP at the end of the battle. I could have eliminated a bunch of extra monsters and still kept my strikers alive.

That is nice
Do you have an idea if it is possible to use one card forever on Splinterlands
I mean you can get other cards but you may have some cards that you do not want to sell and you won't change them...
Yep, you can use a card forever. I sell all I win, though, once I can do so.
Do you know you can win a Chaos Legion pack and many other things just by following some simple steps ?? Check out our Latest Daily Showcase and Participate our latest Giveaway. Thanks
