I think your aloe plant will be fine. I have managed to kill almost everything I have ever planted but the aloe plants I have had in the past have grown to the point of annoyance. I think the pot will be a limitation though, mine were in the soil which I understand is not an option where you live.

Ah yeah, I ordered a new pot. This seems to be doing better than I would have guessed. It think getting something with better drainage will help.
