Splinterlands Art Contest Week 270! - CHAOS ORC [ENG-ESP]

We started with the sketch of how this character would be presented and I thought about doing it sitting, in a resting pose after a hard battle, the dust still settles on his legs while he looks in the distance at the result of his fights, many bodies lying in the ground tested his sword and will not get back up again, this was more or less what I thought this character would be doing to have this pose. This is how my mind works when making a drawing, imagining a scene in order to leave in it some of that emotion and that sensation.

Empezamos con el boceto de como seria presentado este personaje y pense en hacerlo sentado, en una pose de descanso luego de una dura batalla, el polvo aun se asienta en sus piernas mientras mira a lo lejos el resultado de sus peleas, muchos cuerpos tirados en la tierra probaron su espada y no volveran a levantarse mas, esto fue mas o menos lo que pense que estaria haciendo este personaje para tener esta pose. asi trabaja mi mente a la hora de hacer un dibujo, imaginarme una escena para asi dejar en ella algo de esa emocion y esa sensacion. 

In this part of the drawing, with the pose already established, I draw the entire outline with the details of his armor, the part of the legs was a bit of a challenge since the card does not show well what his boots are like, so I did well thinking that his legs would be covered in the dust that was still moving after the battle.

En esta parte del dibujo ya con la pose establesida, dibujo todo el delineado con los detalles de su armadura, la parte de las piernas fue un poco el reto ay que en la carta no se ve bien como son sus botas, asi que hice bien al pensar en que sus piernas estarian cubiertas del polvo que aun se encontraba moviendose tras la batalla.

Once I finished the line work with the mechanical pencil, I went on to trace the entire drawing with my fine-point pen to apply the ink and start creating the entire scene that I had in mind.

Ya terminado el trabajo de lineas con el portamina, pase a trazar con mi boligrafo de punta fina todo el dibujo para aplicarle la tinta y empezar a crear toda la escena que tenia en la mente. 

Here we see how I applied some dark shadows to certain parts of the armor and body where light would not be able to touch and also applied the same intensity of shadows to his sword, remember that this character is in the middle of a battle field where daylight is present throughout the body and few parts are
not illuminated, making the character have few shadows.

Aqui vemos como le aplique algo de sombras oscuras a ciertas partes de la armadura y el cuerpo donde la luz no seria capaz de tocar y tambien le aplique la misma intensidad de sombras a si espada, recordemos que este personaje esta en medio de un campo de batalla donde la luz del dia esta presente en todo el cuerpo y pocas partes quedan sin iluminar haciendo que el personaje tenga pocas sombras.
