Introduction

Another weekly challenge released (Splinterlands, 2022), again with Dragons theme, where we can feature any battle with use of this Splinter.

I have already made two posts on this topic, in Greengineer (2022-a) I presented the advantage of using the Brighton Bloom summoner to counter the Earthquake game rule, already in Greengineer (2022-b) I showed the versatility of the summoner Daria Dragonscale by increasing the melee attack of compositions without the need to use the Fire Splinter.

Today I will present again a battle with Brighton Bloom, but this time showing how the Flying skill can help in battles that take advantage of high movement speed, as presented in Greengineer (2022-c).

The strategy before the battle

The battle in question had the Spreading Fury rule active, 30 MP to summon, and only Fire Splinter unavailable.

With Spreading Fury active, I looked for among my available cards the one that had the highest movement speed and that had abilities that were useful to dodge attacks. In Water Splinter I had the Djinn Oshannus with Void and Phase, the latter that could allow me to dodge both physical and magical attacks. To increase his arsenal I summoned him as a tank using Blighton Bloom, which provides the Flying ability to all allies.

To help him on the battlefield I put the Water Elemental to protect the backline with its high movement speed and healing in the last position, the Supply Runner to increase the movement speed of my allies in the fifth position, the Deeplurker to catch vulnerable enemies with its Opportunity skill in fourth place, Ooze with Slow in third place and Furious Chicken with zero MP consumption in second place.

Once assembled the team was hoping that my enemy didn't care about movement speed, and that happened.

The battle

My opponent came with Pelacor Conjurer as a tank, Shieldbearer in second position with Taunt, Stitch Leech in third position with Sneak, Cave Slug in fourth position with Opportunity, Peacebringer in fifth position and Lone Boatman in last position with Snipe .

With the Shieldbearer in play most of my attacks would be aimed at him, so his team would attack my most vulnerable allies before mine did. In addition, the shield provided by Tyrus Paladium would increase the time needed for my Deeplurker to eliminate these targets.

In the first round I lost my Furious Chicken, but my Ooze managed to dodge the enemy's onslaught with the Flying skill. The other monsters continued in the game.

In the second round it was my turn to lose my Ooze. The Shieldbearer was eliminated and both my front line and my rear were alive.

In the third round my opponent lost his Pelacor Conjurer and his Stitch Leech. Djinn Oshannus and Supply Runner took first damage in the match, triggering Rage and getting faster.

In the fourth round it was Cave Slug's turn to leave the match. None of my monsters took damage.

In the fifth round, Peacebringer and Lone Boatman were eliminated, guaranteeing my victory.

My tank only had to worry about a monster attack during the match, as my opponent's attacks were spread out with the use of Snipe and Opportunity skills. With the exception of my most vulnerable monsters, the others also had high movement speed and the Flying ability provided by Blighton Bloom, which allowed them to have no problems dealing with these attacks.

Introdução

Mais um desafio semanal lançado (Splinterlands, 2022), novamente com o tema Dragões, no qual podemos apresentar qualquer batalha com o uso deste Splinter.

Já fiz duas postagens sobre esse Splinter, em Greengineer (2022-a) apresentei a vantagem de utilizar o invocador Brighton Bloom para contra-atacar a regra de jogo Earthquake, já em Greengineer (2022-b) mostrei a versatilidade da invocadora Daria Dragonscale ao aumentar o ataque melee das composições sem necessidade de utilizar o Splinter de Fogo.

Hoje irei apresentar novamente uma batalha com o Brighton Bloom, mas desta vez mostrando como a habilidade Flying pode auxiliar em batalhas que se aproveitam da alta velocidade de movimento, como apresentado em Greengineer (2022-c).

A estratégia antes da batalha

A batalha em questão tinha a regra Spreading Fury ativa, 30 de MP para invocação e apenas o Splinter de Fogo indisponível.

Com Spreading Fury ativo busquei entre minhas cartas disponíveis aquela que possuía a maior velocidade de movimento e que tivesse habilidades que fossem úteis para desviar de ataques. No Splinter da Água eu tinha o Djinn Oshannus com Void e Phase, essa última que poderia permitir desviar tanto de ataques físicos quanto mágicos. Para aumentar seu arsenal o invoquei como tanque utilizando o Blighton Bloom, que fornece a habilidade Flying para todos os aliados.

Para auxiliá-lo no campo de batalha coloquei o Water Elemental para proteger a backline com sua alta velocidade de movimento e cura na última posição, o Supply Runner para aumentar a velocidade de movimento de meus aliados na quinta posição, o Deeplurker para pegar inimigos desavisados com sua habilidade Opportunity na quarta posição, o Ooze com Slow na terceira posição e a Furious Chicken com consumo nulo de MP na segunda posição.

Uma vez montada a equipe era torcer que meu inimigo não desse importância para a velocidade de movimento, e isto aconteceu.

A batalha

Meu oponente veio com o Pelacor Conjurer como tanque, o Shieldbearer na segunda posição com Taunt, o Stitch Leech na terceira posição com Sneak, o Cave Slug na quarta posição com Opportunity, o Peacebringer na quinta posição e o Lone Boatman na última posição com Snipe.

Com o Shieldbearer em jogo a maioria de meus ataques seria direcionada a ele, de forma que sua equipe atacaria meus aliados mais vulneráveis antes que a minha o fizesse. Além disto o escudo fornecido pelo Tyrus Paladium aumentaria o tempo necessário para que meu Deeplurker eliminasse estes alvos.

No primeiro round perdi minha Furious Chicken, mas meu Ooze conseguiu desviar da investida inimiga com a habilidade Flying. Os demais monstros continuavam na partida.

No segundo round foi a vez de eu perder meu Ooze. O Shieldbearer foi eliminado e tanto minha linha de frente quanto a minha retaguarda seguiam firmes.

No terceiro round meu oponente perdeu seu Pelacor Conjurer e seu Stitch Leech. O Djinn Oshannus e o Supply Runner receberam o primeiro dano na partida, ativando o Rage e ficando mais rápidos.

No quarto round foi a vez do Cave Slug sair da partida. Nenhum de meus monstros recebeu dano.

No quinto round o Peacebringer e o Lone Boatman foram eliminados, garantindo a minha vitória.

Meu tanque só precisou se preocupar com o ataque de um monstro durante a partida, pois os ataques de meu oponente estavam espalhados com o uso das habilidades Snipe e Opportunity. Com exceção dos meus monstros mais vulneráveis, os demais também possuíam alta velocidade de movimento e a habilidade Flying disponibilizada pelo Blighton Bloom, o que permitiu que não tivessem problemas ao lidar com esses ataques.
