It seems I'm to be stuck here in Diamond League for the rest of eternity. This is now the 4th season in a row that I reached Diamond and then hit a brick wall, unable to break through to Champion league. I might be a little more accepting of my perpetual home if it weren't for that sweet, sweet taste of the nectar of Champion League I received a few seasons back. Since then, my only goal has been to once again walk among the giants of Splinterlands.

Once again, I finished the season in Diamond 2. And once again, I managed to come close to Diamond 1 before falling back, never to catch sight of the promised land again. At least this season I improved my Win/Loss ration slightly. Last season my ratio was 0.91 and this season it was 0.98 with 173 wins and 176 losses. My overall matches dropped slightly from 368 to 349.

I played a lot more tournaments this season. Mostly trying a few new types. Some that I had no business playing in. Luckily, I managed to recoup my entry fees even in the tourneys that I clearly didn't have the cards to be competitive. I did manage to earn a few SPS in the three Alpha tournaments I participated in. Overall, I think I made a profit of 103 SPS for the season. It's not much, but it is an improvement over last season's Tournament income.

My rewards for the season were about even with last season. The most noticeable improvements season to season, I received 4 Chaos Legion packs this season vs. only 2 last season, and I earned 80 more SPS this season over last season. Overall, I received a lot less DEC, a lot more SPS and about 15% less credits worth of other stuff.

Rental income fell to about half of last season's income. OUCH! I guess this is the way things will be going forward. Now I understand why there is so much grumbling in the Mav Chat about reduced rental income from everyone.

Wow! My SPS income shot up a lot this season. Net SPS this season was 12032 this season vs. only 8263 SPS last season. the increase in SPS did come at cost to my vouchers income. That dropped from 263 last season to 198 this season. But all those extra SPS are worth it, I think.
The presale for RiftWatchers came at the end of this season and I spent a bunch of SPS to get in on the Promo card reward given out for the presale. Over 30000 SPS spent on RW packs. That will hurt my future SPS earnings at least in the near term, until I can put those new cards to work and hopefully start earnig more rewards with these powerful cards.

Tried Archmage for the first time yesterday. It played better than I do :(
Diamond is impressive, congrats. I been stuck in the gold leagues but I am working with a BETA + Reward deck of uneven leveled cards. I need to hit the market soon and pick up some cards while the getting is good. 553 SPS rewards in a season is also impressive, congrats!
