My Actifit Report Card: February 2 2026

The morning begins with a simple yet meaningful routine enjoying a cup of hot coffee while feeling the cool, fresh morning air. The distinctive aroma of coffee always provides a welcome boost before starting my work in the rice fields. Afterward, I head to the fields to continue the work I've planned since yesterday: weeding and leveling the rice fields to prepare them for the next planting season.

Upon arrival, irrigation water is already flowing slowly into the plots. I begin weeding with a hoe and other tools to prevent weeds from regrowing. This work is quite tiring, but the results are very satisfying as I see the land gradually become level and clean. I also repair the land boundaries that were damaged by water flow and the occasional livestock trampling into the rice fields. Reinforcing the boundaries is crucial to maintaining clear boundaries and preventing excessive waterlogging.

Toward midday, I take a short break at the edge of the rice fields, enjoying my supplies and the cool breeze. After my break, work resumes in the afternoon to ensure the entire area is completely level and ready for use. The fading afternoon sun brought a sense of calm, and I ended the day with a sense of satisfaction that a crucial stage in rice field preparation had been successfully completed.

Working in the rice fields is certainly not easy, but every drop of sweat always feels worthwhile, as it contributes to a successful harvest. Today may have been all about hot coffee, mud, and soil, but therein lies the true joy of simplicity.
