Freewrite || The Fire That Teaches About Letting Go

Today, I stood before a fire that burned so vibrantly. Dry wood was haphazardly arranged, blending with blackened bamboo stalks, while old tires burned amidst the flames. The fire wasn't just hot; it seemed to have a story of its own. It moved, danced, devouring everything in its path without hesitation.

Smoke slowly rose into the air, carrying a distinctive odor, a mix of wood, rubber, and burnt remains. Beneath it all, there was a simple, inexplicable feeling. It was as if this fire wasn't just about burning, but also about letting go of something no longer needed.

I watched as the embers began to form. The fiery red color seemed to hold a silent yet powerful energy. From something rough and dirty, it slowly transformed into light ash. Perhaps life is like that too. There are things to get through, things to let go of, even if it feels heavy.

The atmosphere around the fire was silent, with only the sound of crackling wood audible. The wind occasionally blew, fanning the flames and then calming them down again. Nothing was in a hurry here. Everything moved at its own pace.

It made me think that sometimes we need to "burn" things within ourselves that are no longer useful. Fatigue, heavy thoughts, or disturbing memories. Not to forget, but to make room for something new.

This fire teaches one simple lesson: From heat and destruction, there is always change. And from that change, there is always a new beginning.
