Splinterlands starting from scratch
Watch as I start a new Splinterlands account without any help. I'll battle my way up to earning DEC, power, and growing my collection. Some people say that you can't make money without investing a lot of money into the game, well let's see if that's true. My 1 rule is that I can't have any outside help. I must complete this task on my own with only the free starter cards.

It is nice idea to start over and see what you can accomplish especially with the new reward system, but unfortunately without a proper investment it will take ages to grow. Good luck anyway!

I'm so mad at myself for quitting the game years ago. I never thought my cards would be worth anything but then when I signed in years later I had $1600 in SPS & $15k in market price for the cards and that's with not renting or staking the entire time!
One thing I didn't know is that starting from scratch you hit a paywall really quickly. To start earning DEC I need to be Bronze 2 which requires 1000 power. That's going to take a long time without any outside help. I can see why people would quit.
I could buy 2 of the cheapest legendaries which would cost me $3.28 to get to 1,000 CP easy. That's a pretty cost effective way to get past the wall but that violates my rule of no putting money into my account. So I'm going to do the slow crawl of 1 loot chest a day and 5 a week (until the new reward system comes out)

I made mistake as well when I started last october and even i was doing DCA on buying SPS the value of that decreased even more. I have big hopes for this new reward system, because atm the game is almost unplayable if you don't want to spend any outside money on it! 😒

It would be awsome if I could get some help with my deck! I have been playing for awhile and have invested some money but I never seem to get up to high especially without atleast renting a card. I am tempted to just get a bot. are those allowed in the game. I feel like that is the only way to get past even bronze which is where I stay.
