Goblin Mech - Double Inspire with Rage - Hold on to something

Today I had an amazing battle using the Goblin Mech. Goblin Mech is a card I really like but don't use all that often. It's more a situation card.
I was so lucky to have the gold version lvl 4 delegated to me by @freemonster as I personally only have a lvl 1 regular copy.

The rule-set of the match was Enrage, which increase melee attack and speed when damaged. With increased melee attack when damaged I decided put Goblin Mech to the test since he has 6 armour. On top of that I brought along 2 Inspire cards, namely:


Demented Shark lvl 3

River Hellondale lvl 2

(Can't afford River Hellondale in Gold yet)


Oh man, the Goblin Mech gets up to 6 speed and 9 attack and did I mention it has piercing. It simply destroys the whole team. Goblin Mech starts as my tank in the first position and is still there when the match is over.

As a very important side note the goblin Mech actually dies once but the sweet River Hellondale Resurrects it with 1 life and 7 armour. Yeah that's right, 7 armour. If your opponent is not packing magic it's goodbye.

After this match I am so getting a Goblin Mech.

yeah I like him myself and never use him either. But he packs a punch.

The Goblin Mech is a highly underestimated card. I have it at level 8 and there it comes with stun abilility in addition with piercing. According to the ruleset it can be pretty powerful. I'm working to develop Merdaali Guardian so that it has shield repair. That can also be a very powerful combo especially in games without magic.
