Share Your Battle weekly Challenge: Centaur The Sniper

Hello splinterlords and splinterladies across the world, how are you feeling today? I can see how people are happy about this christmas. I read many posts about Christmas and commented about it. Some people said they are going to spend the festive period with their families, some said their Christmas will be spent in ‘hive and splinterlands’. When I saw this comment, I laughed and I realized how some people are passionate about hive and splinterlands.
For me, i will be in the city of neoxian, splinterlands and hive. City is a place of knowledge for me, that is a place where I learned many things that are crucial to my life which I couldn't learn when I was in the school because the school could not offer me such knowledge. I love the city of neoxian from the bottom of my heart, because i experienced reality not only theory. Apart from the giveaway the big boss offers us, I mean @neoxian; I read the chats and learned knowledge that is very important to me. Just like my normal routine of checking splinterlands blog but not every time. Centaur is one of the monsters I don't use at all in battle. I don’t know why I lost interest in this monster or because I have many monsters with snipe abilities that are better than Centaur. I think the last time I used Centaur was also when I used it for a weekly battle challenge long time ago.
Centaur is a neutral monster which simply means, it can be used with any summoner. For me the least level to enjoy this monster is level 4: that is the level centaur has 2 range attacks. From level 1-3, it has one range attack which is not good enough for me in battles. At level four, centaur has 4 speeds which makes it attack faster and destroy opponent monsters.
Sniping ability is the only ability centaur possessed from level one to last level. Therefore this type of monster will be very good in ‘blast ability rule’. This is the type of monster my opponents used against me whenever there was a blast ability rule or whenever they used yodin zaku. I barely win against them in such battles.

Equal Opportunity: All monsters have the opportunity ability- the opportunity ability is to attack monsters with lowest health in the battle.

Spreading Fury: All monsters have the enrage ability.

The moment I saw mylor crawling as my opponent, I lost confidence because of the thorn ability. The monster is very deadly and volatile. I don’t pray to come against it.

MY FORMATION
Lyanna Natura: Using this summoner was very advantageous to me, I was looking for a monster with healing ability, there was no Alric Stormbringer: I would have preferred to use Alric Stormbringer than Lyanna Natura.
Therefore, lyanna was my best choice after thorough consideration within a few minutes to select summoner and monsters because of healing ability monsters that i needed to fight in the battle.

Flesh Golem: The reason flesh golem was inevitable in this battle was the healing ability, i knew it would be very useful in the battle. Flesh golem was the second monster to attack in the battle: despite the thorn ability of all monsters, flesh golem was able to sustain the pressure and lead the battle to glory.
If I had made a mistake of using any monster, I would have been defeated hands down. The continuity of healing in every round made it possible for flesh golem to lead the battle.

Rexxie: The moment I saw the ‘equal opportunity’ rule, I knew that rexxie would be the best option for me because of the melee attack. Though there are monsters with higher numbers of melee attacks such as soundworm and Undead Rexxie, the high number of mana made me prefer Rexxie. If I had chosen soundworm, I would have left with a small amount of mana to choose other monsters.
Another thing that triggered me to use Rexxie was the speed of the monster: it was very fast to attack due to its speed.

Water Elemental: hmmmm! What I wanted was to make sure that the left mana occupied many monsters. I was also convinced that fire elemental would be good in the battle. I thought of my opponent might use mylor crawling and that made me to use water elemental.

Centaur: the monster for the weekly challenge was sniping ‘failed summoner’ in the middle of which made it very fast to eliminate in the battle. Centaur was there supporting the attacking force. The reason I used it in fourth position was to stay longer in the battle since it can not lead the battle.
I also planned centaur as bait to attract other monsters since it is among the monsters with lowest health in my lineup. The thorn shattered my plan but the backup plan helped me to win the battle. Centaur could not be used as bait because the thorn ability was damaging the health of Rexxie and Flesh golem.

Furious Chicken: to take a shot from any monster at any other position except the first position. I was very happy to see my furious chicken took a big shot from Kron The Undying and that was the purpose of the selected furious chicken. That big shot allowed flesh golem to sustain the pressure to the end.
