Splinterlands - uping the ante to earn more from staking and the daily airdrop (77 days left)

I've taken more of an interest in the Splinterlands daily airdrop this last few weeks. There are now only 77 more days of the airdrop, so I've decided to do more now to take advantage and get some additional gains from it, although I have to say I'm a small beer player, so my changes are only incremental.

However, I cant be the only small player in the game, so some of what I've been doing may be of interest to others. So heres what I've been doing:

• I've been making sure I complete my daily quest in order to get a reward chest. If I get credits, then I save those with the aim of buying more cards to rent out, and if I get any cards, then I rent them out - both in turn provide more DEC daily, which counts directly towards the airdop,

• I've been renting out any cards I can to earn DEC, as that directly affects the airdrop, and as can be seen above its my biggest contributor. I don have great cards to rent, but I get something, and the APR seems pretty good, and it all adds up,

• I've also been comparing my card rental values using the compare function in PeakedMonsters to try and maximise my income from renting. I found a great post on how to do that, and its been working for me so far (has actually made like a good 25% or so difference) - link - many thanks to @gadrian for this - check it out if you are unsure how it works - he explains it really well !

• I've been entering quite a few giveaways each day, via splintertalk, and have scored a couple of cards - which again I have rented out. I've also been upvoting any giveaway I've entered, which in turn gives me SPT curation rewards, which when staked count towards the airdrop,

• I've also been checking out other peoples splinterlands investing posts, and up voting the useful ones, which again provides SPT drops,

• I've been delgating my staked SPT to @monster-curator, which gives me a daily SPT reward without affecting the daily aridrop I get for SPT, therefore allowing that to increase a little each day,

• I also bought some SPT through the week, and staked it, to increase my airdrop. I'll probably also add some more DEC and SPS as well, when I can, which will also count towards the airdrop and staking rewards respectively,

• I've been making a few more posts on splintertalk, and particularly the weekly splinterlands media challenge, which also boosts my SPT rewards. Entering the weekly ,media challenege is probably my biggest contributor weekly, so I'd recommend that to everyone,

• And lastly, I've been claiming my airdrop and staking rewards each day, and then re-staking those (whats not to like about 23.85% APR on SPS).

So even for a small time player, there are things you can do to improve your lot. These are not making massive changes, however they are compounding daily, and thats the beauty of it all.
