Obsidian Strategy - From Bronze to Silver

When I am not spending time with my guild mates over at Hive.Pizza, I can usually be found battling it out in Splinterlands.

I recently put together this short guide for my guildmates over at Hive.Pizza and wanted to share with the larger Hive community as well!

Free Cards You Don't Need to Purchase or Rent:

A key benefit to this build is most of the cards are available free to play.

Other free cards used if you get the Little league rule. Little league only lets you battle with monsters of 4 mana or less.

Cards You Need:

Queen Mycelia is a must have for this build. It's Protect ability provides much needed armor for your otherwise weak magic monsters.

Djinn Biljka should be placed at the back. It's Camouflage ability means it can't be targeted unless it is in the front. Your opponent's monsters with Sneak will target Regal Peryton instead.

Helpfull Additions:

Fungus Fiend provides little benefit but if placed behind you Unicorn Mustang it will give your opponent one more monster to kill before your magic cards are targeted.

Wood Nymph it's Heal ability helps keep your tank alive but is easily brought down if your opponent plays a card with the opportunity ability.

Queen Mycelia is the expensive one in this build, that is the only reason I do not have it yet. Granted, earth is my last splinter I have to level up, but minor detail. 😁

It's such a good card so I get why it is so expensive. Maybe we will have to include some in our delegation program next season 😉.
