Today I'm going to show you how to make Tom the lizard using foam clay — he plays an important supporting role in the Disney animated film Hoppers. Hola!! Buenas Noches familia #diyhub, amantes de los trabajos manuales y artesanías, el día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) al lagartijo Tom, que juega un papel secundario importante en la película animada de Disney "Hoppers". Espero les guste la creación, a toda la comunidad en general y yo súper contento en presentarles mi experiencia con este material flexible. ¡Acompáñame!

The inspiration for this project came thanks to ideas from Pinterest, where I discovered Tom, the lizard who plays an important supporting role in the 2026 Disney • Pixar animated film Hoppers. He is depicted as a small green reptile who has great animal friends that support him and prefers to avoid drama at all costs.

I really liked this character because of his fun lizard appearance. Now I'm sharing the design I made in foam clay with the community. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

La inspiración para este proyecto llegó gracias a las ideas de Pinterest, donde descubrí a Tom, la lagartija que juega un papel secundario importante en la película animada de Disney • Pixar de 2026, "Hoppers". Es representado como un pequeño reptil verde, que tiene grandes amigos animales que lo apoyan y prefiere evitar los dramas a toda costa.

Este animado me gusto mucho por su apariencia de lagarto divertido. Ahora les dejo el comparto el diseño que hice en foami clay para la comunidad. Sé que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte. Link externo

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

Foami moldeable Blanco / White foam clay

Foami moldeable Negro / Black foam clay

Foami moldeable Rojo / Red foam clay

Foami moldeable Verde / Green foam clay

STEP / PASO 1

In the initial phase, I start by taking a portion of green clay to make the character's body. Then, I mold it into a ball shape with my hands, giving it a curious finish.

En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color verde para realizar el cuerpo del animado. Luego, con las manos moldeó en forma de bola, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

STEP / PASO 2

Next, I develop the body parts of the little lizard: its head, its wide-open mouth of astonishment, its red tongue, its green scales, its hands, its legs, and its bulging eyes, always giving my very best.

Seguidamente, desarrollo las piezas del cuerpo en el lagartijo, su cabeza, su boca de asombro bien abierta, su lengua roja, sus escamas verdes, las manos, sus patas y los ojos saltones, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

STEP / PASO 3

Finally, we make the final touches on the eyes and the nostrils, using black and white tones. This design is a bit more complex, since the parts to be molded are smaller.

Ya por último, realizamos los retoques finales en los ojos y los agujeros de la nariz, con tonalidades, negro y blanco. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

It's worth noting that this design was sourced from Pinterest, but the actual creation of the character is done by me, with dedication, so they look even nicer in your home or bedroom.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en Pinterest; pero la realización del animado es hecho por mí, con dedicación para que luzcan mas bonitos en tu hogar o dormitorio.
