Results of the Splinterlands fun giveaway #3
The last giveaway had very little attendance compared to the previous two. I really liked this model more, the previous two only had to upvote and reblog the post and that was too self-centered, this latest one was about curating and outreaching so I really liked that idea better.
The winner was @henruc by curating the post https://ecency.com/hive-105017/@haoeeicc/a7dd22bf98f73
He chose the card "Kelya Frendul" (ID: "C7-437-8LJDO5V13K") as his reward and it is already sent, congratulations!

If you have ideas on how to make the next one more outreaching and more interesting, I am totally open to new ideas!

thanks for the giveaway
I didn't participated on this giveaway because I found the rules kinda weird.
It's very difficult to actually be the first vote on a post, especially because the majority of high-quality content creators already have a fanbase (and it's impossible to read the post and vote on it before the vanbase trail votes).
Not only that, but the rules were favouring (a lot!) users that have a curating trail following them. It would be almost cheating, as their vote would bring other votes just for the sake of automation, allowing this user to win the giveaway by voting on a random post and having the automated trail following him.
I totally understand what you mean and I was also worried about that, but I wanted to give it a shot. The rules are not as simple as the previous ones, but if you look at the results I think no participating competitor had a curating trail.
It was harder to participate, I myself tried to find an invited post and it was not easy, Hive has too many bots, but it worked. I am still brainstorming new mechanics for the next one, or if I will repeat a mechanic already used.
