LOH#158: My Dear Diary

Hello everyone. How’s your week going? Trust its going well? Have a blessed week ahead. I’m going to be sharing a little about ‘my diary’. This was not really a great challenge writing this because I’ve always had a diary. For me, my diary is like a best friend whom I can share all my secrets, my problems and aspirations in life.

DEAR DIARY, I know it’s been few days. I have not come to say hi. Not like I have abandoned you. I’m so sorry. Since we lost mum two weeks ago, I’ve been very busy trying to put a lot of things in place. It’s been so hard for me but I’m trying. You know it’s just me and my sister left, so it’s kind of hectic. I think it would have been better if dad was also around. Its sad right to know both of them won’t be around anymore.

DEAR DIARY, Remember I told you this year I told you I was going to give love a chance...smiles. I did meet somebody. We first started as friends. He told me he liked me and I did like him too. He was everything I wanted in my man. He loved God, the way he spoke and reasoned, his dress sense and everything. He was indeed my type of man. But there was a problem. Dear diary...guess what, he was in a serious relationship. He was not even certain of what he wanted. I was happy I was not fast to give in to anything.

DEAR DIARY, I’m about starting a new level. Finished 200 level few months back. And now I’m about to start my 300 level. Things have taken a very different dimension now. You know mum was my sponsor but since her departure things have taken a new phase. But I’m also grateful for the new things I have learnt this period. I’ve learnt growth and consistency.

DEAR DIARY, On the other hand, I tell you that I am glad because October is coming to an end. It has not really been the best. If you can remember ‘dear diary’ my best months were the remaining months of the year but I can’t say they are anymore, because I always get to celebrate mom November, then dad December, but I can’t get to do all that anymore.

DEAR DIARY, Lastly, I really wish to have an amazing time these remaining days of the year. And I also think I need to time to be calm, relax and enjoy myself because this year has really been a lot.

DEAR DIARY, I will soon return to your pages to share my thoughts and deepest emotions, because my heart is very heavy. I’m really happy because I have you as my most faithful confidant; you know a lot...smiles. I still have a lot to tell you. My new friends here in my new location, our experiences and a little about each of them.
